Well, my stance of being in the Martin Camp with this has been pretty well documented. With that said, I moved a little bit to the middle on a few specific instances that I was previously pretty staunch on for Martin. But it is painfully obvious now that Richie is the crux of the problems here.

When you lack a leader with integrity, this can happen I suppose. I can only wonder if this never would have happened, had we resigned Long.

They are all supposed to be grown men. The blame lies with the perpetrator.

If Long was the player that wanted to shoot Ireland, it is doubtful any contract would have brought him back.

However, considering Garner's text about this going on for 6 years, it seems to have been institutionalized beyond someone like Long's ability to fix it, even if he wanted to. Manning probably could have, but not many others.

Report surfacing that Incognito, Pouncey, and Jerry were re-enacting the pivotal scene from The Kite Runner with regard to the restraining incident in the locker room. Apparently they're all cinephiles and feel like the movie got snubbed at the Oscars, so they brought light to it in the locker room.*

    *Made up report.

I hate what is happening to the team, but I do love being vindicated in my loathing of Jeff Ireland. He was and is the scum from a toxic sewage plant that I thought he was.

Of course I yet have heard an apology from any of the verbal attacks I received from the Tap Dancers on this board. My satisfaction is I know THEY know I was right.

Yeah I always get a kick out of people that bring up "freedom of speech". That only protects you from being jailed or harmed by the government for your political beliefs. It has ZERO to do with protecting yourself from being an idiot and jerk who says horribly racist or bigoted statements. You have zero protection and are responsible at all times for what you say, and how you say it to someone.

So that said, there is no "freedom from consequences" for opening thy mouth and inserting thy foot.

Well it certainly wouldn't have happened had Ireland let Incognito go after the Golf Course incident, as he should have

It seems to me that Long was probably a major contributor to this circus. He probably has/had enough cranial capacity to know when to stop, but the timeline and his choice of friends suggests he partook in some of this, a may have set these things in motion by leaving the dogs (Incognito, Pouncey) off their leashes when he left the team.

The NFL self selects meat head employees. The biggest failing is on organizations that don't put proper channels in place to rein this stuff in. I'm not American but a lot of the culture is the same here when it comes to being a man. I hear the same things about mental health and masculinity as you guys but to a more intense level.

The NFL and NFLPA have both failed to provide ways to appropriately handle workplace issues that even a local McDonald's has.

Garner and Long were both drafted by the Dolphins in 2008. Garner had reportedly been harassed for his entire 6 years with the 'phins.

This X1000 , all the people sticking up for incognito, Jerry and Pouncey and Turner fail to realize that they were gay bashing, and being racist and simulated sodomy and doing all their vulgar not funny crap while turning in one of the worst performances ever for a Dolphins O-line.

Actually, Garner was drafted by the Jets. But yeah, same difference; he's been with the Dolphins for about 5 years and says he was harassed too.

As a Korean fan, i was deeply disappointed at that part. Knowing that players i've been supporting and admire, actually could think "you are nothing but stinking chinaman"...thats crazy. I hope Mr.Marino and JT is not one of them...

I am sick of the media grandstanding and making a name for themselves.

Why does Wells wait so long after texts released? Because he can present an illusion that he considered Martins role.

Was it over top cross Lines? Yes. The issue that it doesn't exist in other lockerrooms simply because someone says it didn't? Laughable.

Martin may have did what he did trying to fit in, and to make it stop. But until he makes it known hr is offended, the others could take that as hr is one of the guys.

Obviously player a took it in stride. Why would hr say anything if he actually cared? If it bothered him he can say nothing or he can say he didn't like it but he took it and moved on. To say he flat out wasn't bothered and likes the Oline coach? Doesn't add up to media over blown hyperbole.

Was it wrong? Yeah. But do we really know culture of NFL lockerrooms? Can we say its isolated to here? If you can good, I can't. Mark schlereths word means zip to me. You think he would actually say "yeah we bullied the hell out of him"?

Media and BSPN blow, they forget perspective.
