Too easy. Just look at the deal with Fin-O ;p I was dead tired during that fiasco. Rest is pretty solid I think. If you take in the fact that I'm doing a complete re-build here. Texans were pretty damn poor talent wise to the point they had about 15 guys on their 51 who would be lucky to qualify for futures contracts ;p Indeed. K.C. especially. I would have made a hard hard run at 2 of their players...but at this point I'm pretty much set for FA/Draft.
I figured I'd reveal that I was FinO's co-GM at the end of the season we would be eligible for feud of the year.
Speaking of Dumb and Dumber... the new one comes out at the end of the year. Paul will be thrilled because Andrea from TWD is in it.
It's a 3-4 but it's a long way from complete. I've got one major trick up my sleeve on that side of the ball and a few planned moves that should work out.
Ok. Lets talk about this crush you have on Case Keenum. That trade wasn't the first time you asked about him ;p
I wouldn't have called the Houston Texans devoid of NFL level talent when you acquired the team at the start of this "General Manager" league. Yes they were a 2-14 but you have to attribute that to a plethora of injuries among many contributing factors. They were able to win their first two games before dropping the last fourteen, but if you go through their schedule you can see close games with not only playoff teams but the Super Bowl Champion. Mon 9/9 @ San Diego W 31 - 28 Sun 9/15 Tennessee W 30 - 24 Sun 9/29 Seattle L 20 - 23 Sun 10/20 @ Kansas City L 16 - 17 Sun 11/3 Indianapolis L 24 - 27 Sun 11/10 @ Arizona L 24 - 27 Sun 12/1 New England L 31 - 34 Sun 12/15 @ Indianapolis L 3 - 25 Sun 12/22 Denver L 13 - 37 One of the major problems was that Case Keenum was the Texans starter for 8 games with no victories. Of course Matt Schaub wasn't his average best this season either, but if he was healthy along with Arian Foster things may have been different. I would not have doubted it if Mr. McNair decided to get his team to throw away this season because they're really only one piece away from contending at that is at quarterback. I think there's enough or was enough talent on the Texans roster for you to take advantage of and quickly turn it around. Of course if the talent was as poor as you say it is then you might have trouble moving more than a handful of players, which I don't see happening.
Anyone else feel there's only about 10 Active GM's in this league? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
I'd say roughly there's about 18 active, 6 active but slow (and probably double teaming it) and the rest......
yup, the Raiders are who I'm worried about. The last time he was on was 2/14. Which isn't terrible but he hasn't posted a team page.
Well you could give him until the date to begin bids on cuts, then try and have an Oakland fan take it. Just an idea.
I would figure mach is too busy to take on the Raiders, but if he wants them here, we can talk about that. I'm still holding out hope for Bigg to get back though. He made a decision on his coaching staff. Not like he was completely absent since I handed out teams.
Why add Mach to the Oakland Raiders? We already got a Raiders owner who doesn't trade.
Rough idea for tag amounts. Old number and then new number. Does not include GML exclusive franchise tag (ie: ain't no one touching your man!)
I'll probably make a decision on the tag #'s this weekend... they won't be too far off what they were last year though.
Gave up a ton to move up, but it was a huge jump and I'm happy receuving Gunn who I feel will be really good in time, as well as LB depth with Dent.
