Did you mean to post that in the Club? Is this a secret Dolphin40? You sure you want that cat out of the bag?

I could of sent you those questions in a PM but its far more dramatic this way.

Cheaper backup QB than Matt Moore and someone to develop if Tannehill regresses.

It's a good idea to draft a QB every year, especially if you're in a position to spend luxury picks; if you have a very complete team.

Exactly. If he is there late then I am fully onboard. But to use a 3rd or 4th rounder on a back up QB with limited upside would be a mistake.

AJ would be pretty far down a list for me. Draft a QB next year; keep at least one position settled (meaning QB and backup).

I've been saying we need to draft a quarterback especially this year that the draft is so deep. I wish Murray would drop to the 4th round but some smart team will get him in the second round. There's still going to be a lot of very good prospects at the 4th though.

Are you ever going to post anything citing a valid source or link? Or is this just your own opinion that you are trying to pass off as fact..

We don't even have a franchise quarterback of course we have to draft one every year, it's the most important position on the field. Tannehill hasn't proved ****. I'm not saying give up on him already but if he busts we'll be setback. I don't want the Rams' situation where they're going to year 4 and still not sure if he will ever be a franchise quarterback.

Don't like this idea at all. Want to sign an undrafted kid after the draft, fine. But with the needs this team has, young QB just isn't one. The line needs to be completely revamped and the Dline may need to be tweeked as well. Too many other needs than QB. I get always drafting a QB as a just in case, but I'm sure Tanny, Devlin and whatever they can sign after will be fine. I'm all for moving Moore if someone comes calling. Also puts an end to that ridiculous Philbin talk about starting Moore if Tannehill falters. :pity:

If Miami were to draft McCarron, they'd have the hottest wife/girlfriend crop in the league by a wide margin

Didn't McCarron and his girlfriend split because he was caught cheating?

Lets draft 3 centers and a speedster WR while we're at it. And a white WR with amazing comeback routes too.

see no reason to bring in another Qb. do see every reason to maintain Moore for another season.

I wouldn't be against us drafting a quarterback in the mid to late rounds at all. IMHO, Tannehill, while he has shown signs of improvement, still has a ways to go to prove that he is a franchise QB. And, while I agree we have other more pressing needs, you have to always be looking to improve at every position. And, as has already been said, QB is the most important position on the field. Having Moore as a back doesn't mean we don't need to add depth to the position.

Also, don't forget that some of other needs can be addressed in FA. So, spending a 4th-7th round pick on another QB may or may not be as ridiculous a notion as some are suggesting.

I'd consider drafting Casey Pachall in the 7th.
