Well in real life players don't get one year deals either ;p And man I can't wait till the start of Free Agency. I 'might' just blow some minds around here
Cmon, No one wants to Heath...he's cheap! Also, im moving David Stewart and Don Barclay with the recent acquisition of Orlando franklin. Im shopping Stafford too, but i need to know before tomorrow night, so i can restructure him.
So true. Somehow I added a quality 4th WR option, a good blocking TE, defensive line depth, backup QB and a young starting FS while taking a flier on s few guys. Did make a huge Levi Brown mistake though. Still kicking myself
there seems to be some confusion over the resign process... if you're confused, PM me or ask in here.
reminder: Feb 28, 10:00PM EST Salary cap rules are in effect. All bids/tenders from this point on must be within salary cap limits.
Noone wanted Stewart for a mid-round pick to the point I had to package him with a player to move him. Now he's over original salary
oh on second thought, I think he's upset about what happened with Heath Miller. Obviously he's a closet Packer... fan.
ok... if I'm not on tonight during this CRITICAL phase of the GML, you'll know why... worst storm to come thru the Los Angeles area in a couple of years.. on the radar, this thing looks like a hurricane. If I lose internet today, as this thing turns into an electrical storm with winds, I wouldn't be surprised. we'll have to delay the 24 hour bidding process and free agency... hopefully that doesn't happen.
I hope the elements are kind to the greatest GM this league has ever seen. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
The heath miller trade was my first, it was super uneducated, and I paid a price for that. You live and learn. I'm sure Matt was doing a hell yes jigg when I agreed. I didnt even know who Cameron Hayward was....and I certainly didn't know enough to look at salary structures. I offered David Stewart to a gm for a 7th yesterday and today higher than his original salary. Big FU I hope the price keeps going up.
I think Matt should be penalized for taking advantage of you. Reminds me of a scene from an older movie...Have you ever seen such cruelty?
Funny...I don't think people should be penalized for other's ignorance, but maybe new GM's should have have their first 5 trades reviewed or something like that. I ydidn't have to cut any of those guys, I could have made it work, but I decided to cut my loses.
I'd rather have an optional committee you can send your trade to first if you aren't sure No reason to have every trade looked at IMO.
BK and I were talking about that the other day. I think it'd have to be 5 members you know are consistently around. Then again if one member of the committee approves it then it wouldn't matter I guess... Since you're suggesting a unanimous vote to veto.
Maybe each new GM has to go through the Commisioner's office first.. or a committee that gives you feedback and not necessarily just vetos trades
(raises hand) I've been saying all along, I am this optional committee. but not one PM to me before someone makes a move...
