Heard he won't take a pay cut from the Titans. I doubt he be a good fit for us anyway.

As you said not really a fit. We need a power back who can pass protect. Not another indecisive speed back.

Likely not what we are looking for. He wants to be a #1 guy and not rotated out...that won't happen here. I'm not too sure about Miller, but the crappy OL gives him another shot as our first option at RB. Besides all that, there are too many other holes to fill than RB at this point...Spend money on OL, DL, CB, S first...then you can look at RB, TE, backup QB, etc...

Chris Johnson is a fit in any system. We don't have a power running game anyway, so I'm not sure why everyone wants a premier "big" back.

I would be thrilled to see CJ get paired up with Lazor. Philly used Shady perfectly out of the backfield, and it would be fantastic to see something similar in Miami.

its possbile Miller is still that guy and miller is possibly better suited for what you just said.

I know i personally want a power back because if i have to watch us fail on 3rd and 1 one more time i may die of frustration

I completely agree that is possible, and I don't think its fair to judge Miller based solely on last year considering both Sherman's play calling and the play of the line. I also think its probably a safer bet to invest Chris Johnson money into the line and give Miller a real shot with a different OC.

However, I think its fair to assume based on what I've seen of Miller when things DO work, that Chris Johnson is a significantly better player. He would be a great fit if we didn't have so many other holes.

He is talented enough to fit in...The problem is more that we have a ton more issues than RB. Getting a CJ at the cost he's looking for, is just not very smart at this point... It's probably a useless dream because unless the OL if fixed, he'd never come here...

The lack of significant speed difference between the two make me much more interested in Bishop Sankey and Lache Seastrunk. Seastrunk and Mike James (TB) are my targets to remake the backfield. Two cheap options. I'm done with DT and would readily upgrade Lamar Miller if possible.
