A non binding committee would be optimal. I know I've been consulted a few times on trades this year, I'm guessing because I have no team, thus no agenda.
The green bay packers welcome veteran CB Terrence Newman on a 1.3 mil contract. In the wake of this signing CB Micah Hyde is considering a move to S.
Bengals welcome some depth signings with CB Sterling Moore and OT Michael Bamiro. If you're thinking, gee Ronin, Sterling Moore's name sounds familiar. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bS8UOuKdmw
Nah. If people are going to be dumb enough to constantly drop valuable people. It's on them as a learning lesson. But by god next year I'm keeping cap room and collecting a bunch of low round picks and highly advertising to people to contact me first before they cut lol
That's the other portion of things. Don't be paranoid. This is like Survivor....make friends with your tribe mates people. A couple trusted GM friends is worth it's weight in gold in this league. Someone you can float ideas by and they can be "Well that's dumb...don't do that" ;p
It also ruins some of the fun of the league if you have dumb people making dumb moves. Part of the fun is the challenge. If essentially 1/3 of the teams go dumb, the market gets flooded really easily.
Live and learn. I made some dumb trades my first year *cough*Corey Webster*cough*. But you learn. Only trade I really regret this year was the tired *** one I made with Fin-O. On the plus side I think the vast majority of my trading is done. Except maybe move Levitre for a package of picks (still not sure I want to do it). Ironically I wanted to do less trading from last year. I made 34 trades last year. With the 4 I still got coming over the next couple days...that gives me 24. Might not hold myself to that less trading lol.
Live and learn - at the cost of everyone's enjoyment? No. I'm fine with people making rookie mistakes, but my point is they don't exist in a vacuum.
plenty of 'em in the draft, and they'll probably end up being good value since they tend to slide a little here.
That is why I feel an optional committee to send trades to is a good idea. Just the threat of it being used will deter some BS offers being taken advantage of
cool, appreciate it, which one you want, OL or DL or both? both might be a lot of work. I think there are less DL than OL free agents.
even if you have 32 of the highest intellectual people in the world (who happen to be football fans) making up the GM list... you're still going to get moves that are considered dumb. It's subjective. Not everyone feels the same way.
So if tagging is done at 10:00PM Est............does that mean exclusive players are ready to be dealt at 10:01PM EST?
Maybe but its best to null really one sided trades. If 5 people are in a committee a deem a trade unfair it should be voided.
bro wht you talking about? this league is sick and there isnt a dumb gm here maybe just c aguy who thinks he knows more then he does
Mach is just abhorred at trading period. Especially any attempt to trade your way to a better Oakland team. Every Raider scrub should be treasured ;p
Way too many trades. I wouldn't have sold so low on Watson, and I'm not thrilled with the Hayden return.
