You should know what its like to get up early and work all day. Dont you have to work that corn field every morning?
I worked on a chicken ranch while I was in middle school then a tomato greenhouse while I was in high school. Then I went to college so I wouldn't hate life.
Considering I have a full time job doing something I enjoy as well as a business venture that is successful... pretty well?
His bank account disagrees. Off topic but yet on. I used to work with this guy who told me his fantasy was to bang a midget and carry her around. I hope he was joking, he didn't seem yhe weird type at all
Our trade allowed me to have the cap to make a move for Michael Bennett. If you ever need an internet favor I'm the man
I'm feeling good as Cincinnati didn't have many holes in the starting units to begin with. I have 9 draft picks at present as well to help solidify things.
Bet 1: is phinsational the guy to the right of the screen watching the cam or the guy to the left cross dressing? Bet 2: Is Fin o the guy to the right of the screen watching the cam or the guy to the left cross dressing?
I wish I could show you guys my roster from 2007. I'd win most improved without a vote. It was pathetic. 0-16 pathetic.
Good year everyone. Nice write ups from guys posting rosters too. Hopefully everyone will submit, it is much more fun that way.
Maybe I should edit my roster submission to include write-ups. But, I think did very well with The 'Phins roster, no?
Ill give you my honest assessment... -In a mostly dolphin fan dominant league people typically hold even the scrubbiest players up for the highest bidder (looking at you fin-o and particularly Paul ). You didnt. You should be commended for that. -But it also hurt in some instances where you didnt get the value you could have or even should have. IMO you undervalued a few of your players and could have gotten better deals had you made it known they were available. -As usual you killed it in the draft. You have a great eye for talent. -But some of your personnel moves were befuddling to say the least. Andre Smith at LT? Hes a RT. Lyle Sedlein at LG? Hes a C. David Harris as a weakside backer? He has no speed and doesnt fit a 4-3...at all. Not even a little bit. Hes practically a corpse with his "speed". Sorry if thats harsh; not my intention but you did ask for opinions lol.
Also what could be interesting is to do a post draft version of the league and see how people set up their teams knowing they have a better idea of where players could be and should be drafted as opposed to going off scouting guides. It doesn't mean I still wouldn't have drafted Christian Jones and James Gayle but maybe I would have drafted them later knowing many people would be going off their udfa status
I would have drafted Gayle just because I had no idea teams knocked him off their boards based off his injury. Jones I wouldn't have touched until round 7 if I knew he tested positive.
As for Personnel reasons...Well, you got me on Harris. However, I believe that Lyle can handle interior lineman well enough that he could be moved one spot to the left. As for Andre? He started in the league as an LT, and was benched due to his lack of work ethic. Once he had his head on straight, he showed he could be quite the tackle that's actually playing up to his talent.
I'll give an assessment when I get back from the gym. But off the top of my head I thought you definitely became more explosive on offense. I think I gave a fair assessment of both good and bad. If it was too negative that wasn't intentional.
I'll be looking forward to it. You weren't overly negative at all, you gave him some nice compliments as well. You were just pretty spot on and to the point. In a good way.
Alright because no one asked and I'm taking a break from studying, damn this school...this late in the spring. I'll give assessing the teams submitted so far for fun. 1. Buh-buh-B-K and the Jets Unfortunately he inherited a team with a lack of an offense and one that not too many on these boards or in the league like. He's got a number of tradeable assets but they happen to be young defenders. How much do you weaken the strength of your team to fix some of the weaknesses on the other side of the ball? Luckily he had some cap room to work with and got some deals on receivers (Marlon Brown and Hakeem Nicks for $5,000,000 a piece). He also strengthened his O-Line with a trade that netted him two starting guards and a starting corner. Essentially the Mo'Wilk trade got him Chance Warmack, Andy Lavitre and Morris Claiborne which isn't too shabby. Overall I think he won his trades and fixed some weaknesses, but he didn't do enough to address QB or RB. There were plenty of other options as a backup instead of Sanchez, I would have cut him earlier and got someone else. There is some talent at RB but no game changer which I thought he could have drafted if he kept 3.69. I know the decision was to have a make or break year for Geno, but someone to fall back on would have been good. 2. Wyld and his Indianapolis Colts Not a whole lot changes like you find on most teams in the league, which means it's not as exciting to break down. They've got Andrew Luck, so they should produce some wins but I would have got a veteran receiver instead of giving one up, or at least put up a fight for someone like Hakeem Nicks because the Colts clearly had some money to throw around. Not a whole lot to say about it, they spent a ton on corners and not much anywhere else. 3. Dialing up 305 in New Orleans Unfortunately he had to take over a team late, so there wasn't a whole lot of changes but what he really did well was draft. He picked up three firsts and netted guys that would definitely help the Saints in the real NFL. He only had a couple misses like Shayne Skov, but not too many people saw that one coming. Hard to rate, but these Saints will still give any team in the league troubles because they have Brees.
