That was an interesting take on how, since they are now separated, that they realized they desperately need each other. I now wonder how the rest are going after the last battle.
It was too much Carl for my liking. Overall not a bad show, but not a great one either. I hope next week is better.
Well, I guess that's that answered then. No real surprise either. Still, at least it leaves a chance of seeing a zombie baby for later in the series.
Great episode last night. Love that they introduced the possibility of a cure/finding out what started all this. Sets a good direction for the rest of the season. The new girl is smoking too
The timeline is confusing me. How many days behind Tyreese/Carol and the Psycho Twins are Rick/Michonne and Carl? I think Rick was at the house 3 days. Two night alone with Carl and then one with Michonne, leaving at the end of the 3rd day. I thought Carol said something about following Tyreese for 2 days but I could be wrong. And where exactly did Maggie and her crew ehad after the bus?
I'm not sure what to think of the guy who thinks he knows what started all this... The characters themselves (Abraham and Dr. Eugene Porter) add comedy/lightheartedness to the show. Which makes me think they're full of it about the cure etc. The guy playing Porter (nice mullet) looks like the guy who was the Governor's "science officer."
The men who invaded the house Rick was in have a strong possibility of being characters from the comics. Spoiler The Hunters
The truck trio are awful. Just cartoonish really. Not sure if written that way, or if the actors are that bad, but w/e.
Anybody fall asleep during the last episode? Man, that was hard going. It's like they're trying really hard to make Beth a likeable character, giving her loads of screen time with a popular character like Daryl, when all it's doing is dragging Daryl down. I don't know how much longer I'll be watching if there's any more episodes like that.
Yeah I was going to comment on here about it, but it was such a stale episode I figured who cares. After the prior week’s pretty good episode it was a big letdown. No one cares about Beth and Darryl’s big reveal about his past life was lame. The preview for next’s week episode didn’t look too promising either. Need to get back to what was going on with Glen and the new characters as well as Rick/Carol’s groups heading to that new camp. The Beth/Darryl and Maggie/Others story lines are weak.
I would hope that next week they get Daryl and Beth back together with Maggie and her crew, so they can then head off in the right direction to meet up with everybody else. There aren't many episodes left.
Character. Development. They're probably looking to give Beth a larger role next season so they have to start developing her character more than singer and caretaker of Judith.
I do wish they would show all thge people every episode instead of the way they're doing it with focusing on parts each week. What is Mashone and Rick doing? It's been a month since their story. And the rest of the crew??? That's my only complaint this last few shows.
I think the idea behind focusing on one or two groups at a time is to show how far apart they drifted away... Plus it's easier for people to comprehend one or two stories in an episode than five or six.
Honestly the smaller groups are a nice change of pace that the show needed. It's too easy to have them all find each other too fast after all that chaos at the prison. Plus it gives much needed character depth...............really any excuse to get away from Rick's goddamn moping. I swear every female I know freaked out over the little girls. Balls on them for doing that.
Top 5 episode of the entire series for me. Spectacular. I am not holding my breath the next 2 episodes will live up to it, but man that was a good hour of tv. Crazy how much they developed Carol's role from a worthless side character to one of the most intriguing roles in the show.
