With the Cotchery debacle behind them the Titans welcome Robert Meachem. Meachem will earn his keep in short yardage and goal line situations where his plus blocking will be a major assett while still providing s receiving threat
Cards welcome some OL help w/ T Austin Howard (The Jets did a good job in bidding him up). RB Rashad Jennings looks forward to splitting carries with Andre Ellington. They also welcome back University of Arizona product Antoine Cason CB.
The Browns are pleased to announce the signing of Pat Devlin to a minimum contract. We liked him coming out of college and love what we've seen from him in pre season. He'll now come in as the backup to Cam Newton. Somewhere Joe Philbin is crying.
Damn straight. I drink haterade with my cereal every morning. Who needs orange juice when haterade has more vitamins and minerals?
I actually really like the 5 bid system. It forces you to prioritize. You miss out on some guys, and some teams get under the radar steals early, but I think it makes it a little more realistic and there's more strategy in it.
oh and the Bills are thrilled with getting young tackle Byron Bell... he'll compete for the starting gig at right tackle.
Jaguars would like to welcome Free Safety Mike Mitchell. The 26 year old old showed his playmaking ability last season. Starting 14 games. Collecting 3 1/2 sacks, 4 interceptions, 8 passes defended and 66 tackles. Pairing him with young SS Jonathan Cyprien.
New York Giants welcome back RB Andre Brown who will compete for the back up role with David Wilson behind Trent Richardson. Giants also welcome veteran CB Rashean Mathis
lets keep the bid threads for bids and reports of invalid bids only.. yes, I realize I have posted comments in there as well. but now I need to start setting an example
I was thinking I overspent on Ben Tate at $5m.. but if MJD is currently going for $7m, I'm feeling better about that. also a lesser comp pick (if any) for the Texans... so to Houston.
I question why both the Vikings and Ravens are spending so much money at the RB position in all honesty.
Well I am looking to trade Rice, and I had my roster pretty set and had more money to spend than I thought. It is a luxury bid instead of a need one
Ray Rice was the worst HB in football last season and beat his wife or whatever. I can see why he'd upgrade.
Rice was bad but to call him the worst HB in football last season? I swear, if you quote PFF then I'm going to smack you. Unless he has a trade partner lined up then I still will find it extremely questionable to pay that price for MJD when he has other needs.
