The Club Level has had MANY pieces of remarkably accurate information, from Free Agent signings, to the FINS trading up to specifically take ONE SPECIFIC guy on Draft day, to the Jon Martin Saga, etc... But here is...Slick...telling everybody that the Club is just full of **** / inaccurate/false information and not worth renewing.

I think it's a passing league for the teams w/ elite QBs and a running league for pretty much everyone else. Whether it's 3-4 or 4-3, if Soliai and Starks come back I hope we get back to more two-gap alignments, we used them for 5 years and had one of the best run defenses in the league over that period. This year we dropped to 24th and I'm not buying that it's all on Ellerbe and Wheeler. I'm not saying you've said that but it seems to be the general consensus that those two guys came to Miami and forgot how to play football.
Slick, any time I get a chance to pimp the club for this site I do it to help the site, I'm pretty sure that was the intention.
Regardless of who started it, this is a spectacularly childish attitude to have. "I have something you don't have and you were rude to me so now I'm not going to share with anyone!" Really? Even if you are correct about a bunch of these stories, and even if you break them before they become headlines, that's really more about you than it is about us. Your predictions don't change the course of the team, or the league, and we all find out eventually. Predicting that we would trade up to pick Dion Jordan 4 hours before it happened is neat, but it didn't really alter the course of anyone's day. It didn't bring extra meaning to someone's life. It didn't shatter anyone's world or allow them 4 extra hours to plan something they otherwise would not have. It was just some good inside information that is interesting to read. But that's all it is...and if you're really making predictions in order to hold it over people's heads, or to give you an excuse to be rude, then you're very disingenuous and egocentric.
Not the best way to go about it by him, imo. I wasn't trying to diss the club or the site but he wanted to know why I wasn't there anymore so I told him. And FTR it wasn't like there was never any accurate info there. I do remember someone breaking the Satele trade a day or two before it happened.

I'm taking anything released by the media with a grain of salt this time of year, when it comes to stuff that has not yet actually happened or is predictive. If the Eagles seriously wanted to trade for Jordan for example, it would behoove the Dolphins to see what kind of offer they may want to make at least.

None of us can know if it was wrong. The only way it would have been certainly wrong would have been if the deadline to apply the Franchise tag passed with Grimes still unsigned. The tag was not needed because Grimes signed in the morning. Had he not done so, it is a pretty safe assumption he'd have been tagged in the afternoon.

This site is fine, you won't find one with a perfect lineup of posters who all agree on the price of tea in China. What's troubling is when some people are getting disagreed with, the constant "this is Finheaven" "You're a troll" BS. People are going to disagree 50x a day, it's life...everyone should accept it for what it is instead of referencing the site and the people who run it. That shnits just dumb.
except the issue are with the members and not those in charge. FH split because of differences with those that ran the site. I just think that we all have become a bit too personal about what value our opinions actually have. some have insight that most of us do not and we ALL appreciate that, but if a thought or insight is questioned we get all too sensitive. Lord knows I had to take a break for a bit and regain my perspective. ultimately others either agree or disagree, so so what if they don't like what you say. it's a message board for discussing points of view on different topics.
