It just goes to show how important scheme fit is. Wheeler is a good player, just not a fit for our scheme. Jerry could see an emergence in a power man blocking scheme to where he's at least a reliable starter; however, Jerry in Philbin's offense was like trying to turn a 3-tech 4-3 DT into a 5-tech 3-4 DE. It's a poor fit.
To be fair to FFG, she wasn't the only person bidding on Martin. Issues aside, I still think that Martin just doesn't have it at LT. But you know what? He's still young. So, who knows?
To be fair she was the only one who seriously bid on him. Me and Stitches placed a bid just so we could cut him ourselves. Imagine our shock when we were outbid
I Don't Think A Serviceable BackUp For 550$ IsThatBad. Issues Aside, He Could Play Both tackle Positions And Maybe Some Guard, If Worse Came To Worse.
Wake didnt take that route by choice. He took it because he had no other route. he was cut by the NYG and a handful of other teams because "he had no position" and teams viewed him as disposable because he wasnt a high pick. Cam Wake also showed a desire to play football because he loved it. He slept on mattresses on hardwood floors (no bed, just mattresses) while he was in the CFL. he learned humility and it shows. Jon Martin could use that lesson. He doesnt look like he brought a work ethic or much of anything in fact other then the ability to take up space
Also I don't like Martin chances. In the report he hated himself because he was soft. He just doesn't strike as a guy that can handle the NFL life style. I'll include a time machine.
I don't have a top flight WR but what I do have is a certain mediocre WR I can package with other mediocre players and draft picks.
Only players I may move curently are Bryan Bulaga and Chris Jones. Other than that I'm done with trades and FA.
Houston welcomes WR Julian Edelman to the squad. His arrival is going to immediately shake up the roster.
The Pittsburgh Steelers would like to welcome Israel Idonije and Richard Marshall at 495k. Both will be valuable reserves and are relative bargains.
Jets wants to finally welcome Dennis Pitta. I'm pretty happy to get Pitta even at that price. Also have one of the best blocking TE in Rhett Ellison.
Oakland welcomes Anthony Spencer to their new 3-4 defense. About damn time as he was one the first players the Raiders targeted.
So bidding on him was SusSpenceful?
lol no Just sucked seeing him get bid on by the same team 2 hours before he would have been won every day.
I don't mean all of those positions and draft picks for Milliner just those positions are my needs right now.
we deandre Hopkins goin for another first rounder this year. Paul, hollar at yer boy and give me some dap on the flip side
Rams add veteran swing T Will Svitek. Loving my second team OL!! Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Pittsburgh welcomes Ronnie Brown at 495k. Ronnie will be a valuable reserve who can do a little of everything as a back.
Titans welcome OT Ryan Harris. Harris is a plis in the passing game and screen game but not the best run blocker. He will get a chance to be the primary bavkup at both OT spots.
SD welcomes Breno Giacomini who will man RT for us. We also want to welcome and welcome back Chris Williams and Stephen Schilling. We feel both can play or provide solid depth. We would like to also welcome Deji Karim who will provide solid depth behind Lynch and Harris. Drew Davis is a solid young receiver who will learn behind Roddy, Keenan and Miles. Scott Chandler is a guy we like and were impresed with playing in Buf. With Phillip tossing the rock, he will only get better. Kendrick Lewis is a guy that looked all pro in 2011, has regressed a bit but hope change of scenery helps revert to form, he will compete with Jahleel Addae for our FS spot
