I'm really warming up to the idea of this dispersal (do I say it with a lisp Mach?) draft... Call it the commissioner's revenge...

I agree. Brees should require draft picks commensurate of his value. Something like either a top 3 pick, top 12 and a 2nd. 2 1sts.
Or perhaps have a draft pick auction where the highest pick value gets him.

So do you mean we put New Orleans' players into the actual draft pool? That's not a bad idea.

I don't think its fair to incorporate something so drastic as adding the Saints players to the draft pool at their salaries. I would have prepared my team around that. Plus draft picks become more valuable. Its not fair at all. Might as well call Sean and his Cowboys the Dallas Saints.

To be fair we all would have prepared our drafts that way. But at the same time you can do the same thing without incorporating the players in to the draft and that will force some player movement because teams will want to add Colston or brees or Sproles etc.

I'm sorry but I can't get on board with this. If this goes through I'll do the draft but I'm not going to vote.

might as well do this to every inactive team. Its beyond silly.

FAs done, I'm not sure why you just don't treat them like any other inactive team in the past. Could just forfeit their picks from the start if you wanted.

late to the party but i like the dispersal draft as a separate thing....With extra cap space and randomized picks, i think it could work. But, id go along with anything you guys wanted to do....

As far as the draft goes...even if we invalidate the Saints picks. Whose doing the picking for the other inactive teams?

Oh and if Greg wins feud of the year...I'm not paying out a prize reward for that. Putting that on record now ;p

I was away from the GM forum for a little bit. Looks like I missed some drama. Anything that drastically changes the makeup of the league? FA still going on?

    2 drafts

1 saints draft. Same order. Teams get 130/31 in extra cap space. Same salaries on players. Team has dissolved.

I'm of the opinion that NO should be treated like the Chiefs and have them basically be ignored unless a viable, ACTIVE GM can take the reigns from here. I know Todd is ultimately doing a generous thing in helping the Rev, but if that help carries over to the draft I say we simply auto pilot said teams.

Or.....could possibly a couple of old vets who seem to enjoy hanging around here and eating all of our food, actually step up and take control of one of these rosters?? I mean if you take over KC, you already will have a much more talented roster than you ever have!!

Either way I say Paul has a rule of a 100% updated team page before the draft or you forfeit your draft slot. People who signed up but can't seem to honor the commitment shouldn't hold up the draft process if they can't even take 20 min too get the TEAM Page right.

    2 cents.

Ummm those guys might flame out and suck. Youre taking a chance on them. Brees is a borderline HOF QB someone would get just because Greg is a dick....
