Greg is more of a banana than Brees is a HOFer.

If he reires today does he nake it? Probably I suppose, but I'd assume he needs a few more seasons to be a lock.

I think so, he is a numbers machine and savior of a city in turmoil.

Ofcourse if you ask me? I'd rather have Duante Culpepper. :shifty:

Trust me when I say I'm 100% sure he will end up there. I just mean if he pulled a Barry Sanders and retired now there would be that small cgance he didn't.

If I had not traded out of #2, or acquired AROD...I think I may have drafted Bortles. Best QB in this draft IMO.

Only if FinO actually drafted him. It's called the Gabbert Effect.

    You and me both.

I don't think Bortles is bad, but he's raw and will need work. We're not the team to make that happen.

If he's somehow available Bridgewater is a much better fit. IMO Hes getting the short end of the stick and has a chance to be a top QB.

I would sell the farm for Bridgewater. I think even we couldn't screw him up, but, we probably would have screwed up Megatron.

He may be there for you. I've heard some teams consider him a huge gamble.

Its possible the top four are some combo of Robinson, Bortles, Watkins, Clowney and/or Matthews.

Allegedly Reggie doesn't like him, but who knows. I'm fully braced for Carr to be our pick at 5.

Really? And here I was banking on signing Tebow..

The point is people like to poke at Manziel about his body when infact I could throw a baseball at Bridgewater and snap his vertebrate.

And those poking at Manziel's body are foolish too. I'd more worry about his pocket presence and instincts. Teddy's taken some hard hits and come back fine physically and mentally. I'm not worried.

I love the fact that Paul started our FA a good week before the real deal. Last year I almost had Wheeler signed for cheap..........and then the rumors flew he was signing with Miami and his price went nuts.

This year I land Earl Mitchell for $495k. Got myself a Dolphin and for a lot less then the 4 year $16 million with $9 mill guaranteed he just landed.

Trying to figure out where he fits in this defense though. I don't really see him as a 2 gap Soliai type at 300lbs.

No offense but the 4 bid system is the reason you got a steal.

When 70% of the league is actively bidding and they're limited to 4 bids a piece, it allows players to slip through easily.

Inactive teams I'll give you. The 4 bid thing really didn't make much difference. Quite a few teams including me never even used 4 at one time.

Earl Mitchell was also one of the first bids on the FA boards........so people had plenty of opportunity to stop it. I guarantee he would have slipped under the radar in a 5 bid system with fully active teams to. He was on nobodies radar.

last year was the same way with more actives, wasn't so much the case the year before with 10 bids.

I strongly disagree with your assessment but to each their own. I prefer a 10 bid system personally for 48 hours. You'll get steals but not near as many.

Honestly I don't care about Manziel and his size. I poke at him gor being a terrible prospect for an NFL style offense.

Yup there was some nice steals last year to. I also think that week lead time before real FA helped keep rumors from affecting bids as much here. Out of sight, out of mind to some folk.
