with the Saints rebuilding their roster I saw where they are letting some guys go and if they let Mark Ingram I hope Miami brings him in because his Dad was a dolphin and with the injuries to Gibson and Keller we cant have too many good players.

Mark Ingram is talented and if we could team him up with MIKE Wallace we could be playoff bound .

I know the oline is a priority ,yet if we add three vet olinemen and then draft defense we could pull this off.

    He's a running back not a receiver

That receiver already played for Miami like 10 years ago.

another quality thread started by Aquafin.
    1) the saints let go of the aging running backs and kept Ingram as their young RB
    2) HE'S A RB, not a WR

Even if they do release him, no thanks.

If Pierre Thomas is released that would interest me. Saw a NO teammate tweeted out Thomas was being released...

Depends on money, but short answer yes, Phins should be interested.

Ingram was quoted by Times-Picayune as being "shocked" by Sproles being released, and hinted that Pierre Thomas would be gone as well. Basically said that he is excited about the opportunity of getting more carries (along with Khiry Rogers).

Drew Brees is certainly showing some age, even hinting that he "doesn't have many more years or opportunity" to make a Super Bowl run after losing to Seattle in the playoffs last season.

For the Saints to keep a bruiser like Ingram with low miles might just be the ticket the Saints need. He has looked much better as of recent, sometimes, even impressive. Brees needs a legitimate running attack to keep teams honest. In some instances, Brees has become predictable. No knock on him by any means, but he is not the same guy Miami pursued years back.

From the looks of things, Ingram is going nowhere.

Better option available. Draft has some good young guys who won't be drafted high. Some other guys like LeGarette Blount, Chris Johnson, and Mike James are conceivably available.

OOPS I GOOFED I got Ingram mixed up with his dad but we still need a running back and cutting Daniel Thomas and keeping Miller and adding Ingram would not hurt one bit.
