Do you know how expensive it would've been to relocate all of Starks Island?

I like Starks (as a player). Would be happy to see him resigned, as long as it's not a ridiculous amount.

Regarding the potential Randy Starks deal, I'm hearing that $6M a year is way too ambitious. Will come in below that.

Wait, the Dolphins' defensive tackles this year could be named Earl and Randy? "Wakey, wakey . . . ." http://tinyurl.com/km2uln6

Yes please. I had to pay him 9.5 million in our GM league  then again we don't have dead cap so more teams with space.

Dolphins always go for higher in GML.

But score one for me. I grabbed Earl Mitchell for the minimum when GML free agency began early last week.

Surprised Starks is coming back. Figured we would lose both of them.

Great move by Hickey/Aponte if it gets finalised, out staring Starks and his agent on what he was worth, then welcoming him back when he got sensible. Looks like we put a value on our returning DT's around $6m a season and weren't going to budge.

A three man rotation of Starks, Odrick and Mitchell should be pretty good.

YESSSSS. He is worth every penny we will give him. He was amazing last year and is a great 3 down DT both against the pass and run. Our DT rotation is complete too so no need for another one in the first round.

I believe our DL and secondary are pretty much complete, now we need to add a few linebackers and then finish the OL. Hickey has done a great job so far.

I'm happy to have him back if the numbers are right. It also allows the team to look at other positions high in the draft, though they still need to get a developmental player.

I think we might be clue to done in free agency as far as starters go. We will get one more OL most likely but after that we might be done aside from maybe Patterson coming back cheaper. Love what we have done so far.

Now if we sign someone like Austin Howard to a 1 year deal then get Zack Martin in the first round we are a playoff team next year with the improved OL as well as improvements from Tannehill.

    Albert-Martin-Pouncey-Dallas Thomas-Austin Howard
Is very competent and gives us a chance to compete.
I think we are now a playoff team because the Chiefs got absolutely decimated yesterday and the Bengals lost quite a few impact players as well..

My deduction is that Randy Starks wasn't offered any contracts by winning teams, and instead was offered competitive contracts to ours by teams that were on par or worse than us. I'm thinking this led to a resigning. I'm a fan of this move.

He's been hit or miss. When he hits, it's a home run. When he whiffs, it's a a big'n.

Barry Jackson also reporting it, he's not one to put stuff out there that he doesn't have knowledge of. If it had just been La Canfora, I would've been sceptical.

Its been considerably more whiffs then homeruns. In fact, if this turns out to be true about Starks, it will be the first time in awhile.

IDK, there's plenty of talented players available and their asking price will be coming down as the days pass. OAK got Howard.

Or a right tackle, because it seems that there will be more viable tackles in the draft vs. guards.

damn. 15 mill guaranteed. They are really stupid. He is average and i just wanted him as a stop gap but they gave him 15 mill guaranteed and Saffold a ****load of money to play his worst position.

Nice, I didn't think he'd come back. Good idea to bring him back though IMO.

I'd really like to see us bring back Patterson for less, and sign a guard capable of starting and I'll be very satisfied going into the draft.

I think that the Dolphins denying La Canfora's reports through backchannel communications does not mean La Canfora's reporting about them was wrong, yes.
