    Also some Guard(s). :wink2:

But, spot on. We have two starting calibre players on the OL right now. Not saying one may not emerge from the rest of the roster, but there isn't a lot of promise there right now.

If Starks re-signs wow. We'd basically be set at DT (barring injury). And pretty much solid on the DL as a whole.

That frees up some things in the draft as well. I would love Zack Martin and plug him in at RT or LG. But, I have a feeling he will be taken before #19. There are a ton of OL needs ahead of Miami and Martin is clearly a top 4 talent, imo.

It will be interesting to see what other directions Miami goes in free agency the next week (whether Starks signs or not). What do they do on the OL? Do they go DB? Revis? (who is expected to be released today - many are looking at New England as a potential landing spot; we'd have to pay a premium over them so I doubt that we go that route).

Randy Starks is a solid player and I am glad to see him coming back. Between he and Paul Soliai, I would rather have Starks back.

Wait a minute, what about all that we were hearing about Philbin not wanting to deal with Randy's personality? Could that suggestion have been WRONG?

I wouldn't immediately disbelieve it, no.

It's not like JLC's credibility is in the sewer like The New York Times'. The guy was correct about Randy Starks re-signing, for an example.

Wondering if signing a G would be off the table.

The thought of Dallas Thomas in the starting lineup scares the hell out of me... and Tannehill too, I'm sure.

Why would the staff pay a guy that willingly gave them the finger last year?

Great job by all involved. So happy to see Starks back in Miami.

Kind of thought he was gone but more than happy to be wrong.

Because he's a top 4-3 DT or even 3-4 DE and by his own account he wasn't fingering the staff, misunderstanding.

You can reverse the question. If Starks doesn't like the staff why would he stay.

That would probably be more up Incognito's alley (to continue the unintended puns)

Should be a nice 3 man rotation - gives us another 1-2 years to check on developmental players, and let's us dictate how we approach the position in the draft.

Hickey doing a solid job so far, hopefully it comes together on the field.

I'd go with Brent grimes there, but it's pretty close considering the parameters of the deal, I was willing to let randy walk at the price that I thought he would only settle for, I thought that he would only settle for 8 to 9 mill, for around 6 is what I thought he was worth..great deal.

He's one of the top 5 DTs in the league, I assumed he would get much more per year. Not sure why you'd be upset about his contract, its dirt cheap.
