Jackson pretty emphatically denied any gang affiliation.

I don't know. Seems like someone sees a connection. But, he's not a dedicated football player; he's too flighty and inconsistent. If Jackson were willing to work his butt off, keep his nose to the grind-stone, so too speak, I think he'd be a much better player and a stunning all-pro.

He's very tempting when you think about he and Wallace on the field at the same time, that is a deadly combo.

But, what Lazor says about him will likely make all the difference as to whether we inquire or not. I suspect the Jets or Raiders will overpay.

Ever hear the saying "you are who you hang around"?
If true, I have no issue with a high profile organization like an NFL franchise choosing to part ways with someone that has very questionable ties (that's a nice way of putting it for associations with gang bangers) even if it's outside of work. This guy sounds exactly like Hernandez part 2.

75% of the NFL has questionable people that comes around. It's from the environment they come from.

Guessing one is The Jests. And, gonna say the other is prolly Dallas. Nothing to base that on, just a hunch. And, I'd be willing to bet he takes a deal with a team in the NFCE. Skins look like the front runner right now.

Just can't imagine why Philly didn't/couldn't work out a deal with someone. You gotta figure they would've recovered a 2nd rounder at the very least. Unless it was the contract. :confused2:

Yeah I think Chip should have held onto him a little longer and try to trade him outside the division for a conditional 7th round pick, anything. Releasing him the way he did and hinting that it was off the field issues was going to keep Desean vengeful and now he's going to torture his former team's defense (which isn't a good defense), twice a year.

Mike Wallace is not that great a player but I don't want him on the Bills', Jets' or Patriots facing against us twice a year... After this season get him to restructure that contract by putting some guarantee money in it while making less per year or trade him to the NFC..
