Can't say how many times I have thought 40's and drills should be done in full pads particularly for skill players where speed matters more.

Truth is I've never seen any evidence that putting pads and helmets etc on players would change drill measurement results. I think it's just kind of a popular myth that some guys aren't going to run any different in all that stuff while other guys do. The more I do what I do, and the better I get at seeing things on the field, the more I realize that a very high percentage of the time when people claim so-and-so plays on the field faster than this guy that tests well in the 40 or whatever...I find that I could have predicted which guy runs which drills better based on film.

Probably why Bovada hates me so much. They can't hide from guys like me when they put Combine lines up. That's why they have to put up highly restrictive maximum bet amounts. Soon I half-expect them to just ban me from those type of lines altogether as I've got something like a 94% win percentage against them over the last 3 years.

So right now you see him as a strictly pass catching tight end CK? Would he be worth a 2nd or 3rd round pick? And would he even fit into our new system? The kid is really gifted. It would be nice to have more talent at receiver.

I probably would not end up looking at him until Day 3 once some of the other tight ends are off the board.
