Pick studs. That's my plan every year...just like Blaine Gabbert at 4 overall. I let a NEED and my distaste for one smiling Cam Newton make me look at Gabbert with hopeful eyes. I haven't even given it much though this year, which is pretty unlike me. Part of that has to do with the team I'm taking into the draft though. I feel pretty comfortable with what I have so I will really probably go BPA.
We all have that 1 itch we wish we could get rid of. My 1st year in the GML I had the colts and I took Bruce Campbell in the first round. The rest of that draft was solid as I remember but Campbell really sucked. I havent missed that badly since and hopefully wont ever again
It's probably because of where I sit with 4 picks at 30,31,32 and 49. I've gone back and forth on trading up or staying put and hoping my target falls. Or whether to trade back with one or 2 of those picks and collect up mid round picks. Lot of options and a lot of time to over think.
The funny thing is, after I posted that I haven't thought much about it, it ate away at me and I made a spread sheet of targets and a big board, lol.
I hope everyone is really active this year. Would like to see Paul's first round times just blown out of the water ;p
I've been flip flopping....but I think I am going to stay still and risk it. "IF" all goes well then I'll spend 30 and 31 and probably try to make a small minimal move down with 32. Of course if things go bad that'll be blown up and on to plan G.
