I think there's a fair chance Dallas takes him at 16. In a normal draft not as stacked as this one I'd say he's a potential top 12 pick.

Just to speed things up I should see if I can't send Tampa a late rounder to swap picks and grab Taylor Lewan in the process.
Then trade Lewan for two picks that you will argue is what you wanted to do all along because the next player you pick fits your system better.

Yup, it would've been much wiser to draft Ealy at #2 and not even bother with acquiring an extra 1st rounder. I specifically sent my crystal ball to the crystal ball repair shop so that I'd know if the players who best fit my needs [Donald & Ealy] will be there later, but you know how those damn crystal ball repair shops are- always telling you 3 days when they really mean 3 weeks. IDK, maybe I just have an outdated model. So since Donald & Ealy weren't guarantees to land in Seattle, I wanted to know from the outset that I'd have a great chance to at least walk away with Clowney b/c I HAD to come out of the draft with at least one impact D-lineman during a year that's weak for them..... so I made the acquisition of the #2 pick a priority, knowing I could always trade Clowney if the players I need more happen to fall into my lap, and if they don't, well then I'd walk away with Clowney and be thrilled about it. It was a failsafe, genius, to ensure my D-line would be addressed in a big way no matter what. Don't be mad b/c your scope of creative thinking doesn't expand that far.
To replenish my picks from trade up....I'll probably be trading down from 49 if anyone is interested. I'll consider all options (small trade downs, big trade downs for multiples, outright swap for double 3's etc)
Google NFL trade chart. Get in the rough ballpark we might have a deal (Its how I shape offers also ala my KC trade up.). On my way home from work after dropping $250 in some very center, 12th row seats (Woot!) for Alice In Chains. So I'll be looking over the few offers that have come in so far. If ones in ballpark...it'll go.
