At one point it looked like it would come down to Ronnie and Ted. Now Ginn is falling off and Ronnie and Samson are in the lead. But Carey is closing fast. And the Ginn fans will push Teddy back up you know it. So it should be an interesting ending. As someone said, I wonder if this will be resolved before opening day. And possibly the better question...who's gonna slip in for the final vote?
Ted Ginn Jr. [46] Vernon Carey [54] Ronnie Brown [70]+ Is the only person on this list that has consistently done anything with this team. Samson Satele [63] John Beck [12]- Love him as a kid, but has done absolutely nothing to even be considered the best player on this team. He should have been gone a long time ago.
Ted Ginn Jr. [46] Vernon Carey [54] Ronnie Brown [71]+ Samson Satele [63] John Beck [11]- I have to agree with the post above this one. Though Carey has done a great job as well.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ted Ginn Jr. [45] - Vernon Carey [54] Ronnie Brown [72]+ Samson Satele [63] John Beck [11]
I cant wait for the mayhem at the end of this game. The voting will be happening so fast. We're gonna need an official scorekeeper to keep things straight.
Ted Ginn Jr. [44] Vernon Carey [55] Ronnie Brown [74] + Samson Satele [63] John Beck [9] - The end of this is gonna be in the year 2020 probably. :P
Ted Ginn Jr. [45] Vernon Carey [55] Ronnie Brown [74] + Samson Satele [63] John Beck [8] - Ophin added 2 + points for Ronnie.
You know, I've seen a lot of these games on other mesage boards. And at times have taken part in them. But I've never actually seen one come to a conclusion. They usually either die off before the end or they come down to a handfull of options and the voting goes back and forth for so long people lose interest and give up. Be intersting to see how this one goes.
Ted Ginn Jr. [44] Vernon Carey [56] + still the best, most versatile player on the offensive side of the ball. Plus he knows how to start for an entire season without getting hurt...I'm looking at you Ronnie. Ronnie Brown [76] Samson Satele [63] John Beck [6] - And while I would subtract from Ronnie I'm still on a quest to get Beck the hell out of here. I think he's got the tools to be a great QB but he hasn't proven a damn thing yet and I'll take proven talent over potential any day of the week.
Ted Ginn Jr. [43] Vernon Carey [55] - Ronnie Brown [77] + I love Ginn but Ronnie was a beast last year and I have his game worn autographed cleats that still have south florida dirt embedded in the bottom! Samson Satele [62] John Beck [8]
Our offense has not surpassed our defense. That implies that our offense got better. What really happened is our defense got old, slow and had horrible schemes. I still maintain that Porter, Will Allen and Vonnie Holliday have more right to be in the top 5 than Ted Ginn and John Beck. Our offense is weak and unproven. It has surpassed nothing. And the thought of us winning a game, much less scoring 35 points is wishful thinking at this point.
Ted Ginn Jr. [43] Vernon Carey [57]+ Ronnie Brown [76] Samson Satele [62] John Beck [7]- Fumble-itis. Plus, has Jay Fiedler's number. Doomed from the start.
Yeah, but how many years now have we been saying "if this happens" or "if this player does this" etc. We haven't DONE anything except lose, run through multiple coaches, and misuse talent.
Correct count: Someone forgot to check and see if someone else posted at the same time... Ted Ginn Jr. [42] Vernon Carey [58] Ronnie Brown [78] Samson Satele [63] John Beck [4]
Ted Ginn Jr. [40] Vernon Carey [61] + Ronnie Brown [80] Samson Satele [62] John Beck [2] - Man, Ginn has fallen far. As soon as Beck is out of this thing though I'm gunning for Ronnie. One thing Carey, Satele and Ginn have done that Ronnie hasn't? Played an entire season without getting injured. I love Ronnie. I own his jersey. I think he's a great talent. I just don't think he's durable and I think those durability issues will forever keep him from becoming a truely great back in the NFL.
