Oakland will select with the 37th overall selection Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia OVERVIEW: The Raiders have filled out their roster looking to win now with the additions of Peyton Manning, Jimmy Graham, Randall Cobb, Harry Douglas, and Fred Jackson. They will need to ensure that Manning can stay upright by adding a tackle prospect with first round potential in Morgan Moses. While Moses projects to play on the left side in the NFL, Oakland will move him to right tackle his first season as he works across from standout left tackle Jared Veldheer. The Raiders will look to continue to add depth through the draft but they feel like they've done an admirable job in giving Raider Nation as opportunity to see a division winner in Oakland. POSITIVES: Ideal length and proportion throughout for an NFL offensive tackle. Does a good job of exhibiting patience off the snap as he routinely establishes width and good bend in his base to either absorb or mirror his opponent in pass protection. Makes good use of his long arms by extending and punching to keep defenders off his frame. Displays a fluid, consistent kick-slide when asked to track and dictate a speed rusher around the edge. Exhibits a strong first step and impressive burst for his size, when asked to fire through to the second level as a run blocker. Powerful hands to latch and steer against opponents of all sizes. Does a good job sustaining effort and contact to the whistle, and makes a concerted attempt to drive his opponent off the block rather than simply occupying him. Impressive lower-half flexibility and anchoring strength when absorbing a bull-rush. NEGATIVES: Lacks the ability to stop and start with suddenness or redirect in a short area. Struggles to get low and snap into smaller opponents at the second level, and will over-pursue as a run-blocker. Isn't always decisive in space and lacks commitment at times as a lead blocker on outside runs. Collapses at the elbow or will simply drop his head and ram his target when on the run, leaving him susceptible to whiffing or losing his balance and toppling forward. Has struggled with weight fluctuations throughout his career. COMPARES TO: Ryan Clady, OT, Denver Broncos
With the 41st pick, the Buffalo Bills warmly welcome: Outside linebacker from BYU, Kyle Van Noy You can never have enough guys that can rush the passer in this league. The Bills picked up Chris Long after trading Mario Williams. With the ongoing emergence of Jerry Hughes (318 pass rush opportunities, 11 sacks, 9 hits on the qb, and 39 hurries) paired with Manny Lawson, we felt it was a good idea to add another guy to the rotation who can get after the quarterback and play multiple positions as needed in the front seven. Kyle can do that. He's a top talent with brilliant size and athleticism for the position. It doesn't hurt that Kyle is one of Mel Kiper's favorite players in this draft. With the 42nd overall draft pick, the Atlanta Falcons select... TIMMY JERNIGAN, DT, FLORIDA STATE! The Atlanta Falcons have revamped their defensive line with the acquisitions of Derrick Morgan and All-Pro Gerald McCoy along with interior pass rushing specialist Karl Klug. While the Falcons were able to bring back 32 year old Jonathan Babineaux to start along side Gerald McCoy, they are thrilled to find his future replacement in Timmy Jernigan. Jernigan was a projected top 15 selection by many draftniks and is absolute steal at this point in the draft. Pressure was an issue for the Atlanta Falcons in 2013 but you can expect that to no longer be a problem with the likes of Osi Umenyiora, Derrick Morgan, Gerald McCoy, Jonathan Babineaux, Karl Klug, and now Timmy Jernigan coming after the quarterback. The Falcons feel like they have the biggest steal this year with the addition of Jernigan and are thrilled with how the draft has fallen thus far.
With the 43rd selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select: Bashaud Breeland, CB, Clemson The Giants are excited about the arrival of Bashaud Breeland; at 22, 6'0' / 185 the Giants feel he is the best "big" corner in this year’s draft class. Breeland had a breakout '13 campaign, appearing in 13 games (12 starts) and totaling 74-13-4 with five tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles, he is a fluid athlete with smooth, easy movement skills, quick-footed and loose-hipped. Accelerates well in his breaks to stay hip-to-hip with receivers vertically, can shadow, mirror and stay in phase. Plays with a sense of urgency and is aggressive supporting the run game to hold outside contain, closes in a hurry with a head of steam. Good cover awareness with synchronized eyes and reaction quickness. Locates well to highpoint and pluck with his length and ball skills, gives effort to pursue from the back side. Hard-working, focused attitude and respected in the locker room he led the team in passes defended and interceptions as a junior in 2013, earning Second Team All-ACC honors. The Giants will look to use Breeland and his big frame on the outside along with Prince Amukamara while Corey Graham will man the slot. The NFC East has some big WR's and the Giants feel they have added an important piece to their continued growth in the secondary and look to maintain their 2013 top 10 defensive ranking. Breeland brings the ability to go up and compete for the ball at its highest point but also show a willingness to support in the run game.
This player was in contention for 1.15 bc of the coach's love for tall receivers. With the 44th overall selection, the Chicago Bears select WR, from Penn State, Allen Robinson.
With the 45th selection in the NFL draft the New York Jets select... Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB, Georgia Tech You didn't think I'd start Nick Perry did you?
With the 46th pick, Seattle selects.... drum roll please... Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State. GM ToddsPhintacular is excited to add the draft's best running back to an offense built around the ground game. Although Hyde isn't on Eddie Lacy's level, he isn't far off either which still makes for a great NFL back. Hyde doesn't quite possess Lacy's level of power and tackle breaking ability but does offer a hair more burst and speed to help make up for it. With this addition, Seattle packs a powerful 1-2 punch of Christine Michael & Carlos Hyde who can wear defenses down and then hammer away in the 4th quarter with fresh legs. This also importantly serves as a continuance of Seattle's pivotal ground game should Michael suffer injury, especially with Hyde's ability to seemingly grow stronger as games wear on. In Seattle, Hyde will do what Michael did last year as a rookie by sitting and learning the playbook, protections, and developing his pass pro while Knowshown Moreno serves as the primary backup and 3rd down option.
With the 47th Pick in the 2014 TP GML Draft, The Dallas Cowboys select: Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois
With the 48th overall pick, the Denver Broncos select... Martavis Bryant, Wide Receiver, Clemson!
With the 49th pick, the Cleveland Browns select... Davante Adams, WR, Fresno St. With one of the best WR combos in the NFL in Wallace and Crabtree, we had little behind those guys. With how much we want to throw the ball we figured a deep WR class was the best way to address this. We were hoping one of the good WRs would be here at this pick, but did not think that WR would be Adams. This RS-sophomore who started both his seasons at Fresno State has monster upside and ability. He will almost certainly get on the field right away for us and combine with our dynamic WR duo and TE duo to give Cam Newton some serious weapons.
With the 50th pick in the draft The Pittsburgh Steelers select: Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington 40 Yd 225 Bench Vertical jump Broad Shuttle 3-Cone Drill 4.49 26 35 1/2 10'6" 4.00 6.75 Hes the #1 back on GM Boik14's board by a wide margin and too good to pass up at pick 50 even though its not a pressing need with Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles on the roster. Sankey will be mentored by vet Ronnie Brown on how to be an awesome pass blocker as well! http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1884454/bishop-sankey
51st Overall selection, CB/S from FSU, Lamarcus Joyner After watching many teammates go, arguably the best player on the team finally gets his number called. Many times, elite, impact players are looked over because of a lack of size, speed, or just prototypical attributes. This little man is exactly that type of player. The Bears feel Joyner will round out the secondary very nicely with playing time in the slot and safety positions. He will follow charles Woodson and Tillman around until they retire.
With the 52nd overall selection in the 2014 NFL draft, the Arizona Cardinals are pleased to select Ka'Deem Carey RB Arizona Wildcats. The Cardinals are glad to keep the Tucson native in the desert. I know many might believe this pick to be a reach, but truth be told, I have liked Carey for a few years now and did not want to see him picked ahead of me in the 3rd. Despite his poor combine results, I feel that he is a "gamer," and look forward to him sharing carries with Andre Ellington and Rashad Jennings.
Round 2 - Green Bay selects with the 53rd pick: DE/OLB Demarcus Lawrence, Boise State (6-3, 251, 4.80): A gifted pass rusher with enough athleticism to occasionally slip inside or drop back into coverage, Lawrence is eerily reminiscent of Bruce Irvin, the Seattle Seahawks "surprise" first round pick in the 2012 draft. His length and varied pass rush skills are enough to intrigue 4-3 and 3-4 teams, alike. Ill have a write up later in the day.
Rd 2. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: Tom Savage, QB, Pittsburgh Big, tall strong-armed gunslinger who can make all the throws from the pocket, with a quick, fluid throwing motion. Could have the strongest arm in the 2014 class. Consistent drop exhibiting light feet to slide and move within the pocket. Senses pressure to side-step or elude to buy time. Leads receivers nicely on crossing routes, slants and out routes. Will drop it in the bucket. Impressive strength to drag or shrug off bigger defensive linemen and break tackles. Not an elite athlete but has a quick enough first step to escape the pocket with better-than-average acceleration for his size.
With the 55th pick, the Seattle Seahawks select Cody Latimer, WR, Indiana After sweating it out overnight, GM Todd snags the draft's second fastest riser and #5 overall WR on my board- a physical 6'3 215 pound athletic specimen who possesses fly traps for fingers, runs a 4.39, can jump out of the building, and is just starting to tap into his true football potential, as Cody is a complete receiver with the ability to impact all levels of the field and from all 3 WR positions. He's particularly also an asset in the ground game, on 3rd down conversions, and inside the redzone. It's a great situation for Cody to be afforded a year to learn behind one of the game's best who shares a similar skill set in Anquan Boldin. Cody joins a WR-TE rotation of Boldin, Harvin, Golden Tate, and Julius Thomas.
With the 56th pick in the 2nd round the San Francisco 49ers select, Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State. In the real NFL, Derek Carr goes in the first round to a bum team like the Raiders, Vikings or Browns where, although possessing enormous talent, he will become an abject failure with these dysfunctional hideous wrecks of NFL teams. In our fake NFL world, Derek Carr slides to the bottom half of the 2nd round where his NFL caliber arm and athletic ability gives the old QB whisperer Jim Harbaugh a Candlestick (park) sized stiffy. So much so that he kicks me square in the junk so he can run up to the podium and make the pick himself. True, QB is far from the biggest need for this 49ers team. But depth at the position is abysmal, and let's face it, Nick Foles is built like the weenie we all laughed at in gym class and Tavaris Jackson isn't going to get anyone excited if Foles gets gimped. In San Francisco, Derek Carr will learn from possibly the best coach for QBs in the entire league. As good a season as Foles had last year, secretly coach Harbaugh won't be surprised if the talented Carr eventually proves to be an upgrade. That being said, he won't be forced into action anytime before he's absolutely ready unlike what will happen in the real NFL. This pick leaves some unaddressed holes with this 49er team, but with the run on CBs thus far in the draft, the value here is too much to pass up. Welcome to San Francisco Derek!
Let's see. Miami have linebackers that could handle tight ends and the run. Miami has a secondary that's loaded. Miami also fortified at the ends. So how can you make a Brady cry worse? Well, you get a DT that can penetrate and disrupt on the inside, of course! With their 57th pick of the 2014 GML Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Dominique Easley, Defensive Tackle out of Florida!
The Indianapolis Colts will select with 58th Overall selection Jordan Matthews, Vanderbilt
The Indianapolis Colts select with the 59th selection in the draft Jarvis Landry, LSU
Trade - With the 60th overall selection, the Cincinnati Bengals select OT Ja'Wuan James of Tennessee. Rated as the 46th overall prospect according to NFL Draft Scout the Bengals moved up from the middle of the 3rd round to trade with Carolina for the right to select James. The Bengals feel they've got some good value and with a haul of mid-round picks, the move up was worth it. Having retooled the offensive line, Cincinnati was looking at Bruce Campbell or Michael Bamiro as it's starting right tackle. Not good. James was the best OL left on the board and is a savvy veteran of the SEC having started 49 of 49 games played since he was a true freshman at UT. His 49 games played stand second all-time at Tennessee to Dallas Thomas' 50. Standing 6'6" 311lbs James is a solid run-blocker and some scouts even think his feet are sweet enough to be a left tackle in the future. James rounds out Cincinnati's starting offensive line and the Bengals are pleased that with Kyle Fuller and Ju'Wuan James in the fold, both of our first two picks will be starters off the bat. GM Phinishline taps Deone Buccanon with the sole purpose to knock chin straps loose. You've been warned.
With the 67th pick in the draft the Pittsburgh Steelers select: Phillip Gaines, CB, Rice Combine Results 40 Yd 225 Bench Vertical jump Broad Shuttle 3-Cone Drill 4.38 11 36 1/2 10'2" 4.04 6.62 http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1686076/phillip-gaines
Buffalo Bills, with the 68th pick of the GML draft, select: LB from Wisconsin, Chris Borland We actually considered Borland back at the 41st pick, and were 50/50 between him and Van Noy. Now we get both players and are just tickled pink You put Borland next to Kiko Alonso behind our monster defensive front, led of course by Dareus and Williams, and you're cooking with gas. Any player that compares to Zach Thomas is certainly worth a 3rd round pick in my book.

Screw your WR heavy lineups!
With the 72nd Pick in the 2014 GML League Draft, The Dallas Cowboys have traded up to select: Kareem Martin, DE, North Carolina
Buffalo Bills, with pick 73, select: QB from Alabama, AJ McCarron AJ gonna push EJ. We think the comparisons to Tom Brady are valid. His pocket presence, how he pats the ball before he throws, how he has a hot fiance/wife, his downfield throws, his command of a pro style offense, his decision making, his progressions, IMO, this is the steal of the draft.
