I wasnt a fan long before I ever saw CK post about him. My ILB rankings are a lot different then many peoples.
this is good stuff... http://www.sun-sentinel.com/videoga.../Jimmy-Johnson-Recalls-Zach-Thomas-First-Game
I don't know what is harder, getting a hold of GM's in the GML or applying for big boy jobs. I'm going with the first one.
If you read the thread earlier you'd know I posted about a trade up to get out from behind the Colts time milker. Plus I have 2 targets here that I'll be happy to leave with.
Key is that I don't do it if I don't have a backup option I'm willing to take. Omw to work now. If Nappy posts...I'll get to mine sometime tonight.
I would've drafted Borland at 55 if I didn't grab Worrilow in trade before it. Seattle prefers speed & athleticism at LB and doesn't mind sacrificing size to get it, so the 6'1 238 Worrilow fits the bill better with his freakish numbers: 4.59 forty, 6.50 3-cone, 3.97 shuttle, 35" vertical, 10'04 broad, 30 bench. He made Mel Kiper's All Rookie Team after finishing with 127 tackles in only 12 starts, in Mike Nolan's complex scheme no less after coming from a small school.
If anyone needs a swing tackle (Marcus Gilbert) or a swing tackle/Guard (Kelvin Beachum) Pittsburgh will trade one of them....
... or Marcus Martin... to finish your sentence. Given his depreciation value after you already driving him off the lot, I'll throw you a high 4th and that's being generous.
I would've taken him at 60 but didn't think he'd be there when I had already agreed to the trade with cincy at like pick 46. so figured screw it and took the extra picks on trading down.
Well I am on a night shift and bored. So lets see if folks can guess my 2 targets while we wait on Nappy. Send it via PM though....so we don't ruffle anyone's feathers over naming names.
I didn't think Ja'Wuan James was going to be there. My other target, Deone Bucannon, was also there and I was really hoping he'd start to slide in the 3rd and I was going to try and make another move up for him but PhinishLine snagged him a few picks ago. My hole at RT was much bigger than SS considering I have George Iloka and Shawn Williams on the roster.
Maybe the Vikings will go past their allotted time and have to pick #73. I hear they've done this before
Welcome to the draft. Where everyone wants to move down and no one wants to pay to trade up. Give it up, sir. It's over...
