I've been doing the other draft simulator- first-pick.com. Much more fun IMO. Haven't played in a few weeks but still have a top 10 score. 6228 points for you bozos to try to beat. BTW, they changed it so you can't have more than 14 picks, and they no longer give you easy, mega-value, trade back options each pick.
Case in point for not giving two sh-ts about what point score they give me. I take Spencer Long in the 5th round. They gave me a D for the pick. I took Cornelius Lucas in the 6th, they gave me an F. I say, eff them. Seriously. They say this is a bad draft. I say they're just bad graders. Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 19: Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M (A) Round 2 Pick 18: JaWuan James, OT, Tennessee (A-) Round 4 Pick 7 (OAK): Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor (A-) Round 4 Pick 16: C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa (A) Round 5 Pick 15: Spencer Long, OG, Nebraska (D) Round 5 Pick 25 (S.D.): Ross Cockrell, CB, Duke (B) Round 5 Pick 31 (DEN): Khairi Fortt, OLB, California (C+) Round 6 Pick 14: Cornelius Lucas, OT, Kansas State (F) Round 6 Pick 31 (DEN): Alden Darby, SS, Arizona State (D+) Round 7 Pick 3 (CLE): Ben Gardner, DE, Stanford (D) Round 7 Pick 19: Connor Shaw, QB, South Carolina (D-) Round 7 Pick 20 (OAK): Beau Allen, DT, Wisconsin (E) Round 7 Pick 22 (PHI): Wesley Johnson, OT, Vanderbilt (E) Round 7 Pick 25 (S.D.): Larry Webster, DE, Bloomsburg (D+) 1. Doubled up on tackles with JaWuan James and Cornelius Lucas. Doubling up generally accepted as a safer way to address a need. 2. Doubled up on guards with Spencer Long and Wesley Johnson, both of whom have exceptionable mobility for the zone. 3. C.J. Fiedorowicz is the most skilled blocking tight end in the draft, especially for a zone scheme. He's also a damn fine receiver. 4. Mike Evans and Lache Seastrunk add homerun ability and genuine star power to the skill units. 5. Beau Allen would be the only true NT/1-Technique on Miami's roster. 6. Larry Webster would train on as a Michael Johnson-like project while Ben Gardner could play immediately as a pass rushing DT. 7. Players like Ross Cockrell, Khairi Fortt and Alden Darby are perfectly suited for Kevin Coyle's defense. 8. Meet your new third string quarterback training on to be Tannehill's backup: Connor Shaw. If I walked away from a draft with this basket of players you'd award me medals. But first-pick.com instead gives me the worst grade of all 32 teams.
Really good draft. No idea why it got such a bad grade. By the way, I'd take Bridgewater if he slipped to the second round. I'd also trade up for him in that case, just to have some insurance at QB. That's because I don't think Moore will stay around. Not with that contract at least.

Thanks for both those sites; that was so fun. I love the one with the trades. I traded down twice and totally out of the first round, which really made me understand how the 2nd-5th rounds of this draft really are of a rare quality, and the more picks the better! I also realized that I wanted one of the top few OTs, TEs, and LBs, because the depth didn't wow me. However with the depth of the WRs and OGs, it was fine to wait until later on to fill those needs. (Still, my only heartbreak came when Brandon Coleman WR was drafted one pick ahead of me in the 6th.) I also realize I have no idea about the DBS in this class, so any advice would be appreciated. While the scoring seems daft, I did grab 5287 points, good enough for the fourth best of all the teams. Likewise, I'd be thrilled if we walked away with this haul, however fantastical 2. I cannot believe they gave me a C for CJ in the late 3rd or an F for Morris in the 7th. IMO, as far fetched as it seems with the maximum number of trade downs, this would be a nice haul. Tried this again and had Manziel slip to 19, it was too tempting to resist, i would be pretty excited about this draft. Let Manziel sit and compete with Tannehill, if Tannehill becomes the QB we all want him to be, you can trade Manziel for a 1st rounder next year, if Tannehill is average again, Manziel gets his shot. This draft also improves the offensive line and linebacker positions along with a good RB prospect. 19 QB JOHNNY MANZIEL TEXAS A&M 50 G GABE JACKSON MISSISSIPPI STATE 81 ILB SHAYNE SKOV STANFORD 116 RB JEREMY HILL LSU

Traded down with the 49ers for their 1st (30th), their higher 3rd (#13 in that round) and their 5th round pick next year (always love accumulating picks. ). This would be an insanely fortunate draft, imo (used Fanspeak). I love the haul. Didn't really want to pick Cyrus Q but felt I needed to go OL and several were off the board at that point (James, Bitonio, etc.) then loaded up on interior OL (Good competition at OG between the two rookies Martin and Turner then I think Martin has a chance to move to center). Also could not pass up on Lawrence at DE. We seem "set" there but we will need to replace Wake in a year or two and Lawrence could develop. Feel like I got steals in Thomas and Lyerla. Thomas and Beckham will compete at KR and Lyerla has the potential to be a Dallas Clark type. 30 WR ODELL BECKHAM JR.
