If the Wizards were even mediocre at free throw shooting, this game would be tied.

Man even if the Pacers hold on....how embarrassing. You expect a resounding win coming off a game one home loss.

Offensively I don't see the Nets adjusting much other than moving the ball a bit more. They need that extra 2 or 3 passes in their half court offense to be more efficient. They should really make their offense go through Johnson. Sometimes it seems like he is an after thought on offense or may be Williams is just a ball hog. Their starters look crisper on offense but their bench looks stale.

I think they struggle on defensive immensely. Deron Williams was flat footed all game. I just wanted the Heat too keep attacking him.

Heat had their way driving and finishing or passing. Nets lane defense looked slow. If the refs called the Nets fouling on those Heat drives to hoop the game would have been blown out even further. I don't know if they were just willing to concede the game but they didn't look good.

I agree. The adjustments will amount to nothing more than better fundamentals, but the offense will still be mostly one on ones. And the D will still be weak inside. Also Williams will struggle as a perimeter defender.

Chalmers has to attack more than he did in Game 1.

Wade has to be ,more of a focal point instead of playing the playmaker on the 2nd unit.

The 2nd Unit with Wade as the leader, opened up the game, but had he produced more with the starters, the game would have been over in the first half.

Chris Bosh has to realize he has a corpse in front of him, and beat it to death. That was a good start, but he should destroy KG even further.

No more YOLO shots from BK.

could very well be. All I'm expecting tonight is vastly improved defense and more patient offense. As long as we have a chance to win in the final five minutes, I'll be satisfied. I am confident about game three and so I don't see tonight as a must win but obviously I would rather steal one on the road to allay the pressure. I knew we were goingf to lose gm1 after playing seven. Hell we didn't even practice for you guys. Kidd gave the team monday off. So you should see thee real team tonight. If you destreoy us tonight then I'll be worried but if you eek out a four point victory or somethoing I'm still not worried

Game three is the best game for the Nets in the series IMO.

But I saw some problems on Tuesday that were more than just tiresness

I don't think so. Other than our center play which is a weakness I don't think your team is capable of exploiting, what you saw was a team who had no energy and no gameplan. Tonight you should see a very different team

yeah deron disappears at times. he's got all the talent in the world but when things go rough for him he quits mentally. he could be great but he's too soft. the one thing ive noticed with him though its game to game. when he plays poorly for a couple of games he comes out on fire in the next. we'll need that for gm 3 so hopefully he brings it

At least I don't have to wait for the excuse because he was actually kind enough to make it prior to the game. Remember guys this one wasn't must win.

Small victories for an expensive small dong team. No shot in hell they climb out of a 2-0 deficit.

The one matchup they have any chance of winning got smashed tonight.

Adam..you still with this bs that the heat can't exploit your crappy centers?

What do you think they have done for two games?
