Seastrunk is probably not a guy they're targeting, otherwise they probably would have selected him earlier

Lynch is basically competing to be a career #3 TE. I don't get why would would waste a pick on a guy who could've been signed as a UDFA.

In-line but can line up at H-back. Red zone target.

Yeah, because we did not need a blocking tight end. Not at all.

He's a blocking TE that can catch. It's a big need and a good pick. Clay leaves room to be desired as a blocker.

You are ridiculous. I agree that James could have been had in a trade back....however he was a prospect I really liked and did have a first round grade on. Barring injury the guy is going to be a top 7 RT in the NFL for the next ten years. Whether he is here the entirety or not.

Landry was a guy I also loved. His catches come on a variety of routes, he played strong competition, he has strong hands and route running ability. He's a winner.

Billy Turner is a guy a LOT of people like as well and I love him as a guard prospect.

Lynch and Aikens I'm not sure about as I haven't spent a lot of time on these guys and I'm not overly familiar. I do like the Aikens pick from what I have been able to find about him but it's not conclusive one way or another to me.

Lynch is a poor man's Fasano. Great pick. He'll probably replace Sims and Egnew.

Yarp. Sims too possibly, for previous "regime" reasons. They'll battle it out. I love the Aikens pick, the guy is super aggressive and will compete for kick return duties most likely.

Also, complaining about a 5th round pick is kind of ridiculous in itself.

I thought Lynch was underrated and was knocked for a bunch of little stuff, namely not being an elite athlete, when all he does is come up clutch and produce when his name is called from what I saw on film. I really like the Joe Don Duncan kid as a late round sleeper but I'll take Lynch in the 5th all day.

Interesting, all three (Sims, Egnew and Lynch) are pretty close in size...maybe they see Lynch as a bit more athletic??

    Charles Clay isn't good?

Or do you mean in Philbin's tenure?

I know nothing about Lynch other than he's a blocking Tight End. We need to protect Tannehill...End of story. That is what this draft has been all about. Protection for him with picks like James, Turner and now Lynch. We needed a receiver because of the questions surrounding Hartline and Gibson (insert Landry), and we needed another DB with high end potential (insert Aikens). I'm not sure what is not to like about this draft???????
I also don't know why some of you are on Lache Seastrunks jock so much either. It's clearly obvious that Moreno is going to be the workhorse at this point with Miller backing him up. How is Seastrunk (a poor blocking RB) going to help impact things? This has been a decent draft for us in my opinion, and please....Stop whining about us taking a QB....that isn't happening either. We just signed Jordan Rodgers who could push Devlin who is also pushing Matt Moore. Drafting a QB is pointless right now...Give me football players all day over flashy QB's and RB's who will be career backups or possibly out of the league in two years.
