Jordan Tripp...I had him mocked to us 2 months ago in the Draft Forum. I had him pegged as a 3rd round pick. THIS WAS A GREAT STEAL!!!!!

 

The guy we drafted is ANOTHER team captain. Let me know when I can say his name.

The Dolphins' west coast scout Adam Engroff is one of the best scouts in the NFL. If he gives Jordan Tripp a thumbs up....he can play.

I like the Tripp pick, still like Blanchflower, TE, like the blocking TE, roster Clay Lynch and Blanchflower.

just went back to Tripp's film again. This kid can close. Wastes little motion. Light on his feet. Decisive & quick to react. Plays well laterally, sideline to sideline. Good coordination. Breaks down well in space [which goes hand in hand with not wasting much motion]. Great feel for the game. Makes good decisions. Makes plays. Not afraid to light up a lead blocker. Only real knock I have is he needs to get bigger/stronger and adjust to the level of competition. Lotta upside here.

 

Even ESPN is giving him love...how about that

 

There was good and bad in there, what I did like is he was always around the ball. Looks like he has a high motor.

 

I'm trying to get in conversation with someone who goes to every Montana home game.

 

Not a player out there that couldn't have the same bad play compilation video edit.

I see now that was a draft breakdown (edit)

 

Best 20 yard shuttle at the combine for linebackers and top 5-10 in every other category. If he has instincts, I could see him as a starter sooner rather than later....as crazy as that may sound. Team captain with football in his bloodlines too.
