yes yes b/c the Combine had receivers run the forty in pads, helmet, cleats, and from a 2 point stance this year for you to suggest forty time = identical playing speed.
That is a good question. Will they have him as a DE or will they bulk him up and have him be an athletic tackle.
Had Seastrunk as a fourth round pick, and tiny as a fifth..both being there had nothing to do with injuries.
Agreed, Watkins isn't a factor because Manuel isn't the answer... Someone has to be able to throw to him for him to be effective...
No the difference is Landry almost always reaches out with his hands to catch the ball, highpoints it in the air, and fights any contested grab... SMH... Speed isn't everything... Look at Wallace LoL Especially when your QB's accuracy can be streaky... You need that WR with range to make crazy grabs all around a corner who isn't fighting near as hard for possession... Just saying
Wasn't sure where to put this. Started a thread, then deleted it, putting it here. Don't know the interviewer (Krupke) but during it Aiken said he ran sub 4.4 twice at his pro day, but on a track due to conditions. It was converted to 4.4ish. Not shabby. Also read that he received a Big 10 Freshman award the year he was there. He can play w/ big school talent, has size and athleticism. Saw more than one place had him as potentially 3rd round, we got him late 4th. I think I'll like him. http://www.springfieldnewssun.com/feed/sports/the-walt-aikens-interview/fbbNs/ Pro Day info. http://blogs.nfl.com/2014/03/04/aikens-puts-forth-strong-showing-at-libertys-pro-day/ http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...fl-draft-2014-highlights-scouting-report-more
