Ah, these are the Pacers we know and love!

Pacers got out-rebounded by 40, has to be some kind of record.

didnt mind the bosh shot. he missed the previous two. what i minded was the last five minutes it seemed noone wanted to win the game. both teams rushed their offenses and settled for horrible shots. it was a game for whoever got their head out of their *** first to win and you guys finally woke up quicker than we did. good game

i agree that it was detrimental to your flow offensively and i was loving it. we didnt take advantage of it however. the rest of your team was completely out of sync and i think alot of that had to do with lebrn taking over. i think the ideal heat offense has lebron scoring between 25 and 35 and wade and bosh between 15 each and 20 with help from others.

People will say that Lebron "won that game". by taking over...but break down the game by 5 minute intervals.

The Nets gained 2 leads and sustained neither for more than 1 minute, so the Heat had pretty good control of the game, but look at each instance where the Heat opened a more than 3 possession lead. it was mostly led by Mario Chalmers initiated offense. Lebron was great, and super efficient, but the Miami Heat had the best offense in the NBA with him taking 17.6 Shots per game. The Heat play best with ball movement.

The "Button" should be pressed in a moment of emergency...like a game 6 down 3-2 to Boston, or a game 7 vs. the Spurs. Not up 2-1 just to embarrass Paul Pierce.

Play basketball, end this series, and rest for the Pacers/Wiz. No more Michael Jordan fantasies.

NBA simply..sucks, what a naggling league it is, I'd surely bet on an NBA game, would never waste a penny paying to watch one, heck, why not just embrace it and allow power bombs, various finishing moves, and just call it "NBA/WWE"?

Tee Ball is more honest then that piece of garbage league, it's not sport, it is entertainment

What are you whining about? The refs missed a foul call and gave the make up call on a borderline play where frankly the ball looked like it went off the clippers anyway. If that's what you're complaining about then you have little beef.

Now in general the refs leave A LOT to be desired. Most of the refs do a poop job. They completely abandon the rule book at times and tend to let the gameplay and fouls be dictated by momentum. But people also play to watch players so it's a 2 way street. Having refereed basketball at a HS level I can tell you it's easy to fall in to those habits but at the same time it's different when you know you're calling the 5th or 6th foul on Lebron, Durant, Cp3 etc.

Am I the only person around that is truly starting to hate OKC? I can't stand the way the play, the way the refs constantly bail them out and their lame *** fans screaming OKC all game. I also hate how Durant gets all the love when without Westbrook the dude would be sitting on his *** at home right now coddeling his MVP trophy.

As a Heat fan, logically I shouldn't be upset that they were gifted another game, because in the very unlikely event that they beat San Antonio the Heat should wallop them, but damn, I have never rooted for a team that wasn't "mine" more than I'm pulling for the Clippers to send these b**ches home.

I'd love to watch another Lebron-KD finals honestly. Lebron is easily the better player, yes easily, but KD took his trophy. I'd love too see Lebron go off in the finals and show the world Durant is still a distant #2.

It's all nice and dandy, but San Antonio should be able to sweep them.. I don't care about the regular season record.. But home court and a clear coaching advantage should allow San Antonio to COAST by them. Comparing Scott "gazelle" Brooks to Pop is a crime.

Spurs definitely have the coaching edge but I'm not sure they sweep OKC. I could see OKC taking the series, they win at least two games IMO.

Then you hate the NFL, because it is the same. At least the NBA doesn't have a random champion each year.

I'm not a big fan of Durant's goody two-shows act. While he's a good guy, IMO he's a little more douchy than his reputation dictates. The amount of ticky-tacky fouls that team, specially him, get is also annoying. I'm also with you, don't like how Durant gets all the love while Westbrook gets all the hate. Westbrook is a lose cannon at times, but that team wins jack-**** without him.

Though I also have a hard time rooting for the Clips. I like everyone on that team except Griffin. Everytime I watch him play I just get the urge to cold-clock him across his punchable face. All the ****ty Kia commercials don't help either.

If Scott Brooks wasn't trash, I'd firmly believe OKC would win. With Brooks, I still think they have a good chance. The Clippers' matchups are pretty good but they don't have the defense to stop whatever magic Greg Popovich comes up with.

I don't know, match up wise OKC has always given SA problems. Weren't they the ones that stopped SA few years ago when they went on a roll in the playoffs, jump to 2-0 start on OKC and ended up losing 4 straight? Not that regular season means much (See HEAT - Nets) but they were 4-0 against SA this year as well? I'm just spitballing here, recall reading something of that nature, not entirely sure to be honest. As a HEAT fan I would definitely much rather face OKC than Pop and the Spurs.

    This.

We match up really well with OKC. By the same token the Spurs have a really tough time with them. OKC is the team in the west with the best chance of knocking off the Spurs

Pierce just stiff armed Lebron in the throat, then a delayed foul is called that Paul cries about. This day and age bball is full of cryin *** beaches.

Joe Johnson was hitting everything for a stretch there and Miami couldn't buy a 3 for most of the game. It was nice to get a win even when that happens. Miami's been inconsistent, but their efficiency late has saved them many times.

RIP Nets, Good Job, Good Effort.

Ended Pierce's season, again. Ended Garnett's career, most likely.

This was basically our first series of the playoffs against legit competition. Next series is round 2 where we click. Finals is all she wrote.

Once again, we have proof that D-Wade is, indeed, done. I mean, I don't see how Erik Spoelstra can constantly start a player that can only give you 28 points on 56% shooting from the field and 8/8 free throws.

    Such a shame.

    /Hater logic.

Quietly there Wade averaged 18-4-4 with 50% shooting during the series. Washed up indeed.
