They'll be raising that into the rafters before first home tip off next year at the Barclay.

JVG is a better likelihood then Jackson. The triangle will be run and Jackson runs a PG centric offense to the point its anti-triangle. Unless Jackson is willing to scrap that, I cant see how thats likely.

IMO it will be Derek Fisher, which is what I said weeks ago before this Kerr stuff started. Kurt Rambis, Bill Cartwright are names Im hearing and they all coached under Phil. JVG could be a darkhorse. His philosophy isnt far off as hes a big believer in dominant bigs and having the ability to pass out of the post which is essential in any triangle offense and knows his x's and o's. Im not sure hes mastered dealing with ego's at Phils level but then not many have.

So do the Pacers close tonight or is another choke job in the offing.

Right now another Heat Spurs Final looks inevitable.

Speaking of the Pacers, how sweet is it that the clowns from Brooklyn were served right for their egregious tanking because they "wanted" the Heat?

A bunch of stupid morons, starting at the top with the drunk Russian, the multiple failure GM and their DUI coach.

They would be in the ECF right now if they had played Chicago and Indy. We still would've beaten them in 5, but making the ECF is at least a successful season.

I think the Wizards take gamr six at home. They are just playing better team basketball since the all star break. This isn't recent.

My question is can Indiana get it together for game seven

For some reason Washington is terrible at home though. It's weird and maybe it's just a sample size thing but that's how they've been playing.

True on that one. I just hope given the scenario they would protect their hone court I guess. Certainly not a given, but Indiana has been pretty bad.

Don't feel like you "choked away " the series Adam.

Every team this Heat team beats ends up feeling the same way...but after winning 13 of 14 series, I think this team has a little something to do with these "choke Jobs".

and remember, Your Nets weren't the first team to go the last 5 minutes of a game with 1 FG vs. the Heat. Some teams go scoreless in that span vs. Miami.

In short..there had to be something that gave a lot of us the confidence to predict that a "Gentlemen's Sweep" was going to occur.

Great series nonetheless, the Nets made Miami work, and Miami will see the benefit from this series IMO.

Nope, the bottom like is after three straight finals, two straight titles, and winning 13/14 series...we still get no respect. Its always how the other team lost. How they choked. Never what we did.

Whoever at Disney first thought to merge crappy movie previews with actual game highlights should be hanged by his ball sack.

And the Wizards look to be just about done with their post season run. Even with the refs bailing them out.

I don't mean people like you and Boik. I mean the general ESPN audience and fans of these "borderline" teams like Indiana and Brooklyn. Part of me wants Indiana to win tonight so we can beat them without home court. I want the excuse then....

Maybe jaded fans of the teams who lost the series, but I'd say about 3% of basketball fans think Miami only won thanks to the a Nets choking. Kinda silly really.

Maybe it's because I enjoy watching the hillbilly Pacers lose...but Washington is a fun team to watch.

This game has been really interesting. I really dont know what to think about Wall when I watch him play. I wish he was consistent with his game but when he turns it on he's so hard to stop.

    Interesting.

All this first round drama, and the top 4 seeds make it to conference finals.
Silver couldn't of asked for better playoffs his first year.

I'm not sure how to feel about our matchup with Indiana. Not having hone court sucks, but didn't stop us from beating OKC in the finals. Plus Indiana looks like a shell of the team they were supposed to be. Then again we arebt so hot currently either IMO.

Definitely need to take one in Indiana.

We aren't so hot....except for that 8-1 and the 5 wins by double digits.

    Oh..and wade is healthy.

Anybody see that Charles Barkley and Kenny smith have the heat as underdogs next series? Ridiculous imo. I can't wait to stomp Indy!

Every analyst who prattles on and on about Indy pushing us "to the limit" the last 2 years either didn't watcht he games or has an incredibly short memory.

2 years ago both Bosh and wade were hurt. Bosh missed almost the entire series and Wade had to have his knee drained after Game 3 and go on a brief sabbatical with Tom Crean before he came back and turned into Dwyane Wade again.

And last year Wade was battling injuries again, though he came through when it mattered most.

Long story short, when the Heat have been whole the last 2 years we've blown Indy out every time. This is a 5 game series, presuming no injuries.
