http://tvline.com/2014/04/09/orphan...ip-spoiler-pics/#!1/orphan-black-season-2-03/ Who's into this? Some of the most original stories and most versatile acting in a while. Canada is making some of the best television at present.
http://tvline.com/2014/04/15/orphan-black-season-2-spoilers-sarah-felix-alison-cosima/ I'm stoked for this. Soon...soon.
Big fan and looking forward to the second season. Great acting by the lead, and she more than deserved her Golden Globe award nomination.
Lots of great TV coming out of Toronto; 'Lost Girl' tops among them, besides OB. Has Toronto displaced Vancouver as the TV capital of Canada? 'Continuum,' another favorite, is still made (and actualy set) in Vancouver. It is funny, though, how shows made in Toronto mostly seek to "genericize" the city to make it seem like Everytown. She deserved an Emmy, but for the intense anti-scifi bias of that entity. Someone ekse mentioned it elsewhere, but the fact that John Noble never won for playing one of the greatest characters ever in television is atrocious.
I live in Hamilton so even stuff filmed in Toronto tends to use the surrounding area including here. The following is just a list of films that have been shot or partially shot here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_industry_in_Hamilton,_Ontario#Film_list As for TV I know I've seen scenes from here on Nikita, Lost Girl, Warehouse 13, Orphan Black, Rookie Blue, Syfy's sadly canceled Alpha's etc etc.
