Don't think you'll win this one, but you can try. Ronnie Brown is your best player, or at least the best one remaining, he should win.
Ginn Jr. [25] + I'm not voting for Ted Ginn. I'm voting for the whole Ginn family. Ronnie Brown [96] - Samson Satele [62] Vernon Carey [62]
Apologies to Gish and Jackson for me leaving Ted without one of his three supporters for the last 24 hours. I have been swamped. Anyways, looks like my votes wouldn'ta made much difference. The Ronnie Brown peeps are out in force. Beep-Ee-Kay
I'm disappointed in the lack of support for Ginn round these parts. He may not be Brady Quinn, but he's also not anything short of greatness. It's hard for me to understand how a sub-stellar tackle, and a hungry rookie center who excelled in a system that has moved to Baltimore, can be favored over a rare talent that screams danger. But the masses have spoken. And I'm hearing a tone of hypocrisy. Many posters are preaching 'what have you done for me', while they eliminated Jason Taylor before this contest even got warmed up. I'd like to see how this competition would turn out if it started after training camp is underway, and JT is proving everyone wrong. Yeah, ok, I guess I'm just bitter because my guy has lost any chances of winning, but hey, I love my boy. I understand that Ginn hasn't pumped out the top dawg numbers yet. So I guess I can look forward to next years survivor, where I will be posting highlight reels of everything you voted against. I can confidently say that many of you will change your tune, as I have witnessed more of what Ginn can do, than at least 95% of the people voting in this thing. I just ask that you don't count a strike against him simply because he's not Brady Quinn.
I can stomach Ronnie beating Ted, but not seeing the #9 pick from only a year ago ranked below Samson and Vernon. Vernon is great. Samson is very good and will prove to be great, in time. Ted, however, has the chance to be a star. A superstar, imo. So, i'll vote against the big men. I think i'll have an easier time bringing Vernon down to earth than Samson. Ginn Jr. [24] + Ronnie Brown [97] Samson Satele [62] Vernon Carey [62] - (sorry, coach.)
About as much solace as being the #4 receiver in a 3-wide offense. lol. You're right, of course... but imo only Ronnie is in the same class as Ted of the remaining four.
QUIT CHANGING PEOPLE'S NAMES!!! Ted Ginn Jr. [28] Ronnie Brown [96] - Samson Satele [61] Vernon Carey [60] +
Dude, he has shown no greatness YET at all. He has no business being mentioned in the same breath as 2 proven NFL players nor with Satele who proved his worth last year. I understand being a fan of his but the statement that "he's nothing short of greatness" is way off at this point.
he caught everything thrown his way, and is doing JUST FINE. He has every bit of bidness being mentioned with the others.. stop the hate brother Trek.. and know this.. I agree 100% with the greatness comment.. In his rookie year with an idiot coach the opposing teams were already defensing "him" specifically.. it will only get better.
Ted Ginn Jr. [25] - Get him outta here until he really proves his talent & worth Ronnie Brown [103] Samson Satele [60] + Vernon Carey [57]
