    GM of the Year:
    1. Houston Texans – Doesn’t have the best team, but he plays the GML the way I think it should be played. He is active and friendly to everyone. He is willing to talk trades at any time and really that’s what this league is all about for me. I definitely didn’t like some of his trades (Should have gotten more value for Foster, Andre, #1 and Watt), but he won his share of trades as well. The league wouldn’t be as fun without his activity around here. He did well in the draft and he builds his team in the trenches (and I guess secondary). It’s refreshing to have a team not going after playmakers like the rest of us.

    2. St. Louis Rams – Turned a team that had promising young players who haven't done much into a very complete team. Built the 2nd best defense and oh yeah added Aaron Rodgers on offense. I wish they had a little more depth on offense, but that would have likely came at the expense of the defense. The lack of a #2 WR could hurt the offense. FinO is also very active in Free Agency, Trades and on the board, which is a big part of this award.

    3. Pittsburgh Steelers – Just a solid all around job. You have to be the most consistent GM year after year. Very good offense and a good defense. You killed every trade, were good in Free Agency and drafted well. I know you needed to trade Wright to solidify your line, but I felt the lack of a #3 WR just takes the offense down a slight notch. I’m not a fan on a number of your players, but there is no denying it is a talented team.

Team on the Rise: Buffalo – I vote for this award for best team with young talent. Cleveland and Oakland are ready to compete now. Buffalo is full of young talent on both offense and defense

Team Built for Now: Seattle – Any 5 of the nominations could make a case for this award. I rarely ever vote for a SuperBowl champion for an award like this, but Todd did a good job of making the Seahawks better. Todd definitely overstates how hard of a job he had in taking over Seattle, but there is no denying the he made the team better.

Free Agent Steal of the Year: DT Earl Mitchell – Fins homer, but also I don’t really feel like the rest of the options were that good.

Draft Steal of the Year: Khyri Thornton DT – Tough to choose one, but I picked Thornton as sort of a Cincy reward as I believe Cincy would win the reward for both Thornton/James.

Trade of the Year: Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Rams – I just like this trade, big names and franchise QBs changing teams.

Best in Trades: Pittsburgh – Just wins every damn trade somehow and most are lopsided. Seattle/Houston a close 2nd.

Best in Free Agency: Oakland – I like the way they decided to go all in for Jimmy Graham. Oakland’s roster was atrocious and there wasn’t much they could have done to be relevant, but snagging Graham at all costs to pair with Peyton was just about the only move they could have done to put themselves in position to win now.

Best in Draft: New Orleans – This one was tough as I could have picked a few teams but overall I like Saints draft top to bottom best

Feud of the Year: n/a – I don’t vote for this as I believe this ruins the league

Best Offense: Cleveland – The combo of the offensive weapons, a great QB and good OL. Browns did a very good job building the offense. Pittsburgh was a very close 2nd

Best Defense: Seattle – Inherited a great defense and revamped the defensive line to make it great. I believe they could have done a better job on the LB, but it’s hard to complain about the overall defense. St. Louis was a close 2nd.

Best Offensive Weapons: Cleveland – As with best offense I feel Philly has best offensive weapons (including depth) but next for me was a tossup between Cleveland and Tennessee. I feel both teams lack depth beyond the top guys but I chose Cleveland because they are younger and less likely to breakdown.

Best Offensive Line: New York Giants– No weak spot on the line and the right side could be nasty for years. Pittsburgh and Baltimore were a close 2nd.

Best Front Seven: St. Louis – Quinn, Johnson, Suh and Brockers is nasty to go along with probably my favorite LB corp in the GML. Lack of a #2 CB is only reason they are behind Seattle for best defense

Best Secondary: Houston - Tough choice between Seattle and Houston, but since I have to split hairs I went with Houston due to the fact that they built their secondary from the ground up and Seattle was mostly inherited with a few improvements.

Rookie GM of the Year: Green Bay - Definitely the hardest one to vote on. There are 4 teams that I have been going back and forth on, but in the end I am going with Green Bay. I chose Green Bay because team wise I feel like all the teams are equal, but felt GB was most active on PMs, Trading, Free Agency, etc.

Some teams that I didn’t vote for but I believe deserve a shout out:

Tennessee – A close 2nd on a couple of awards. Took a team without a lot of talent and built a very good offense. It’s a little old and I don’t like Dalton much, but they did a great job.

New England – Did a great job building a very well rounded team. I really like the young defense that you built and just wish you had made a better #1 WR upgrade then Wright, but very good job

Atlanta – Like New England built a very well rounded team. Defense has a lot of really good young pieces, just wish there was another DE. Atlanta is very underrated and seems like they flew under the radar all GML.

New York Jets – Took on the toughest assignment, and while I know you got frustrated at times, you did a good job. Added a lot of pieces to the offense and if Geno can make a step the offense could be pretty decent.

Cincinnati Bengals – Made realistic, smart moves. Just added a few depth pieces to offense, but I love the LB makeover.

    GM of the Year:
    1. Oakland - took the worst team talent wise and made it a hell of a lot better. The offense is injury prone but there is speed for days.
    2. Atlanta - this is almost strictly on the strength of their D. I definitely overlooked them in the nominations. I love what they did. Their DL is killer and there is speed and all kinds of talent on every level. Their offense....I guess it depends on what one thinks of Steven Jackson; I tend to think there is enough left in the tank on Jackson and enough potential at Wr.
    3. Seattle - yes he inherited the best team but he also maximized value for every asset and that's really commendable. He took a great team and made it better. Well done ya big baby. :)

    Team on the Rise
    1. Jacksonville - accumulated an impressive collection of young talent.
    2. Oakland - Took an awful team and made a contender of it.
    3. Buffalo - given more time they probably contend for GM of the Year because they did a lot in a very short amount of time. This team is ready to contend now with what they did. Cleveland and Miami are ready to compete now IMO.

    Team Built for Now
    1. Seattle - solid all around, spectacula in many areas. Depth is lacking in some spots but too ood to ignore
    2. Philly - See Seattle. OL and CB cost them this award.
    3. New England - very nice job by a first GM. Took a very ood team and made some major improvements.

    FA Steal of the Year
    1. Toby Gerhart - To get a starting caliber RB for this cheap in this league which overvalues the snot out of skill players this is criminal larceny. You just shoplifted this.
    2. Earl Mitchell - To get a Dolphin this cheap...well done!
    3. Jacoby Jones - Got a legit deep threat and reliable WR3 for 550k. Heck of a job.

    Draft Steal of the Year
    1. Deone Bucannon - my top rated safety, this is a man-crush selection all the way.
    2. Taylor Lewan - A top 10 talent at 23? What were some of you thinking?
    3. Khyri Thornton - I kept thinking to myself during this draft, when is this guy going to go? I had a 4th round grade on him and you got him in round 7.
Shout out to Indy for Smith and Cincy for James.....I like both players though I disagree with their real life selection spots. Good eye for talent though.

    Trade of the Year
    1. Browns/Panthers Cam/RG3
    2. Rams/Packers Stafford/Rodgers
    3. Browns/49ers Crabtree/Gordon

    Best in Trades
    1. Cleveland - Just consistently wins deals
    2. Seattle - See Cleveland
    3. Houston - Easiest to deal with, doesn't try and rip anyone off.

Best in Free Agency - To me this is about finding good players under market value regardless if they are a superstar or just an average player you got great value on compared to their NFL contract.
    1. Houston
    2. Oakland
    3. Jets

Best in Draft - This was probably the hardest category for me. Every single one of them has a case. I'm not a big Paul Richardson fan so that hurt Atlanta for me. New Orleans had great value in the first round but I based this on how many starters each team really pulled in my opinion. Washington was tremendous as well.
    1. Indy - No 1st, No biggie. Found first round value in Smith in real life, love Matthews, like Landry, Da'Quan Jones, Walt Aikens, Cam Fleming, Wes Johnson....just found talented prospect after talented prospect
    2. Houston - Killed it early and often. Built the foundation for a great D, good values on their OL.
    3. Cincinatti - great values with every pick. Great eye for talent. The only thing that dropped them was that they didn't really find a game changer for me.

Feud of the Year - n/a I'm with Philly on this...I don't vote for stupidity. IMO it shouldn't even be a category if it hurts the rest of the league

Best Offense - OL factored heavily here for me since Best Weapons omits that as a consideration
    1. St Louis
    2. Cleveland
    3. Atlanta

    Best Defense
    1. Seattle
    2. St. Louis
    3. NE

    Best Weapons
    1. Tennessee - Older but very talented Gore and Andre Johnson lead the charge. They found pieces that really complement each other. If Smith is the vertical big play guy Nelson and Andre work underneath as impossible 1-1 match ups. Gates is over the hill but he's still a great red zone target.
    2. Philly - Always seems to have great skill players. His height at wr is scary and the TE's have very different skillets which is awesome. Whitten the better blocker and chain mover, Ertz as the seam stretcher. Shady McCoy is still awesome. This was a very close second. Tennessees skill at wr is the difference maker for me
    3. Cleveland - Good players but a lot of questions marks about the health of Crabtree and Foster and the lack of secondary options. Still you could do much worse.

    Best OL
    1. Baltimore
    2. SF
    3. Cleveland

    Best Front 7
    1. St. Louis - Stayed true to their 4-3 roots. Added a lot at LB and added to an already excellent DL
    2. Seattle - Versatility is great, but I don't think theyre overly dominant in any one scheme
    3. Buffalo - Lack of a definitive scheme hurt

    Best Secondary
    1. Seattle - Every single one of them is a pro bowl caliber player
    2. Arizona - Just excellent all around.
    3. Atlanta - Love Desmond Trufant, their safeties compliment each other well. Could be higher if not for Stevie Browns health questions.

Rookie GM of the Year - this was the hardest rookie class to ever pick a winner for. In years past Washington and GB could have run away winners, heck even Detroit was doing good before he started acting out. Zona did a great job too.
    1. Cincy
    2. Baltimore
    3. Indy

    Thee...Ohio State University
Team on the Rise- Raiders...lots of nice moves by Oakland to get that abysmal JOKE of an organizations arrow finally pointing up.

Team Built for Now- Seattle...obviously they hoisted the Lombardi last year, and now they are even better. No question they are ready to win NOW.

FA of the Year- I really think Roger Saffold was by far the steal of FA (Gerhart...giggles) but of the list I'm going Jacoby Jones due to his playmaking abilities.

Draft Steal- Deonne Buccanon...guy will make an immediate impact IMO.

Trade of year- Browns/Panthers....could be argued who won that trade, but IMO nobody lost.

Best in Trades- Boik...at times I wonderd if he had pictures of GMs with sheep.

Best in FA- Philly...Andre Roberts is going to shock a lot of people, you already know how I feel about the Saffold signing.

Best in Draft- Washington...like this draft a lot, the Saints were a real close second. Real close.

Feud of Year- Todd vs anyone and everyone...although he will deflect the attention, this guy is just flat out controversial.

Best Offense- Browns...a solid unit all around, love his versatility at WR also.

Best Defense- Seattle...his DBs will get you off the line, his front seven will get to you fast...what do you do??

Best Weapons- Philly...for me LeSean McCoy separates him the most, solid all around.

Best OL- Baltimore...studs at every facet of the line.

Best Front Seven- Bills, not the best DL, not the best LBs, but the best combination of both IMO.

Best Secondary- Arizona...adding Calvin Pryor to that core is insane.

Rookie GM- Packers...this was a tough one, I had the Ravens typed in...but I really believe FFG was our best rookie.

    GM OF THE YEAR

    3rd Place Cleveland Browns

2nd Place Pittsburgh Steelers...did a fantastic job with this team. Has plenty of playmakers on offense and defense and one helluva OL for Ryan to run through. Another fine season by Boik.

1st Place Winner.....Philadelphia Eagles...gettin CKap too run the Chip Kelly offense was a fantastic match, then he went out and acquired some of the best talent possible at WR. Chandler Jones is the Aldon Smith of the AFC IMO. This team has no weaknesses and this GM did great.

Fun year ladies, great job as commish Paul...goodnight.

Mike Brown's votes have been cast. Read'em and weap.

    GM of the Year

    1) Pittsburgh Steelers - Best overall job on both offense and defense, and one of the best teams in the GML.
    2) Atlanta Falcons - Their draft haul was absolutely sweet and I thought they played it pretty realistically.
    3) Seattle Seahawks - Hard to improve the champs, but that's what Todd did. Plus, I BK'd him twice, that I know of, and I didn't have a feud with him.

Team on the rise: Buffalo Bills

Team built for now: Seattle Seahawks

Free Agent Steal: Earl Mitchell, DT Houston for $495k.

Draft Steal of the Year: Mike Brown tried to vote for himself twice. Since that's not allowed, Deone Bucannon. I literally had his name typed in at one point before the trade up for Ja'Wuan James.

Trade of the Year: Cleveland trade with San Francisco. Boatload for Josh Gordon.

    Best in Trades: Pittsburgh Steelers

Best in Free Agency: Oakland Raiders

Best in Draft: Again, Mike Brown tries to vote for himself, but the vote is cast for the Atlanta Falcons.

Feud of the Year: Todd vs. League vs. Commish vs. Rules

Best Offense: Philadelphia Eagles - lots of weapons and adding Kaepernick to that offense is a boon.

    Best Defense: Seattle Seahawks

    Best Off. Weapons: Philadelphia Eagles

    Best O-line: Baltimore Ravens

Best Front7: Seattle Seahawks - Aside from my own team, I'm not sure how some of those fronts actually mix into a realistic defense from a schematic perspective.

Best Secondary: Seattle Seahawks - can't go against returning 3 of 4 from the champs.

    Rookie GM: Arizona Cardinals (Higgi).

    GM of the Year

    1. NY Jets
BK inherited an 8-8 team that apparently everyone was scared to catch cooties from in trades and still managed to turn them around by maximizing the few trades he was afforded, by nailing his draft better than anyone else in the league, and by making a strong impact with FA dollars despite starting with $17 million in cap space. Trading is what makes the wheels on the bus go round and round in this league as it opens doors and future doors for team improvements, so I think it's easy to overlook the job BK did by simply focusing solely on his roster without taking into account what he had to work with and by having players that other GMs didn't want to trade for.

NY had major needs at WR & OLB and BK nicely revamped both with Odell Beckham Jr, Hakeem Nicks, and the promising Marlon Brown at WR and Jason Worilds, past 1st rounders Whitney Mercilus & Nick Perry, and 2nd rounder Attaochu at OLB. He boosted the interior of the Oline with LeVitre & last year's 1st rounder Chance Warmack, then upgraded TE with Dennis Pitta to round out the weapons & protection needed for Geno Smith to potentially succeed, which I thought was smart rather than hastily dumping him after just one year. Defensively he added Morris Clayborne & Donte Whitner to the secondary, with Clayborne likely being a better fit in NY's coverage scheme than Dallas's. Up front he wisely held onto Sheldon Richardson, has one of the best nose tackles in the game in Damon Harrison, and grabbed one of the draft's top 5-tech DEs in Brent Urban who will likely prove to be a steal.

BK featured the best pound-per-pound draft with Odell Beckham at #18 (who went 12th) despite receivers frequently being overdrafted, Attaochu 45th who has 1st round talent, right tackle Jack Mewhort in the 4th round who went in the 2nd, Brent Urban in the 5th who went in the 4th, and Brandon Linder in the 7th who went in the 3rd.

    2. Tennessee
Took a 7-9 team and made them better on both sides of the ball and did so without trading Tennessee's best player, All Pro defensive tackle Jurrell Casey. Did a great job of maximizing his resources. Based on the team Alex inherited, I didn't expect a complete transformation, but he came pretty close. I would've liked for a better draft, but the overall job done with the team was outstanding. Developed one of the league's most potent offenses [with Andre Johnson, Jordy Nelson, Torey Smith, and Frank Gore] which is well complimented by one of the league's most pressuring front 7's [with Dumervil, Michael Bennett, Jurrell Casey, Willie Young, Brooks Reed, Zach Brown, and Wallace Gilberry] and one of the game's more promising ball-hawking free safeties in Rahim Moore who is well paired with Bernard Pollard. The corners aren't outstanding, but they're good enough to get the job done with that type of front 7 pressure and safety contribution. Trading for a vet QB proved to be a better option than trading up the #12 pick for an overrated, overdrafted one.

    3. Pittsburgh.
I have high expectations for Matt in any type of league and felt he did a great enough overall job to garner a GMOY vote but left me slightly apprehensive to give a 1st place vote to. What held it back for me is Pitt's volatile back-8 situation. Outside linebacker features 2 aged vets who might not make it through the year and 2 rookies who most likely won't impact this season [one of which I don't like at 3-4 OLB]. Plus I felt the money tied up in Ware & Harrison could've been better used in FA . Harrison is 36, still a free agent, and will only see a backup role this year at the league's vet minimum but was signed for 4.0M here, and Ware can't stay healthy. Since the second half of 2012, he's dealt with an abundance of injuries that limited him to 2.5 sacks during the final 8 games of 2012 and then just 2 sacks the final 13 games last year. I don't see these two players being worth 1/6th of the salary cap. At free safety, starter Marcus Gilchrist is a bandaid who has never played the position [spent 1 year at strong safety in San Diego]. I feel like this key Steeler position was ignored in FA and the draft. At cornerback, Casey Hayward missed 13 games last year and hasn't played on the outside in the NFL. Corey Webster is 32 and still an unsigned FA. That potentially leaves journeymen Richard Marshall & Trumaine McBride and rookie Philip Gaines to battle it out for the starting outside job opposite Cortez Allen.

Ideally, for me, the GM of the Year would've used that $20 million from Ware/Harrison on Pittsburgh's own Jason Worilds [who is primed for a breakout year] and Cliff Avril [who has the ability to play OLB]. That would've freed up Pitt's 1st rounder to address another need than OLB, would've saved a 4th rounder and two 6ths, and would've freed up LeVeon Bell to be used in a different trade, perhaps to address the need at free safety. At cornerback, Hayward would be in the slot where he thrives; McBride, Marshall, and Webster would be depth, and with the #10 pick I personally would've grabbed the draft's top corner, Justin Gilbert, to start opposite Cortez Allen [or taken Darqueze Dennard at #27] and then grabbed Jimmy Ward at #37 to fill the FS need if I didn't do so using LeVeon Bell.

    Team on the Rise
    Cleveland
A 4-12 team that should compete both now AND in the future is tough to beat.

    Team Built For Now
    New England
Brady has an upgraded offense and a team that can compete for a SB. Nuff said.

Free Agent Steal of the Year
    Toby Gerhart, RB, Miami, $1.5m.
This was between Gerhart & Jacoby Jones for me. It seems like Jones slipped through the cracks due to sheer happenstance b/c of the reduced amount of bids afforded. Meanwhile, Gerhart was in plain sight and was had for 1.5M.

    Draft Steal of the Year
    Khyri Thornton, DT, Cincinnati.
I might be partial here b/c I loved Thornton to the point of ignoring him entirely in ThePhins Draft Forum hoping others wouldn't catch on and then PM'd CK about this small school defensive tackle prospect I thought was the second coming of Randy Starks. He was drafted in the 3rd round but might ultimately end up playing to his 1st/2nd round talent level, which for me makes for the best GML steal as a 7th rounder.

    Trade of the Year
Green Bay Packers and St Louis Rams

It's hard for me to not vote for the most polarizing trade of the year.

    Best In Trades
Cleveland- admirable winner of a handful of a big trades without really losing any. Added some star power that should impact the win column immediately while subtracting a player who won't be seeing action this year and getting great value for him in the process. Grabbed a Pro Bowl QB for a the offense.... and a DPOY to QB the defense.

    Best In Free Agency
NY Jets (Marlon Brown, Hakeem Nicks, Jason Worilds, Donte Whitner, Dennis Pitta)
There wasn't one specific FA group that blew me away as they all had their highs and lows, but I felt NY did the most solid job overall, plus added impact players on both sides of the ball.

    Best In Draft
    Cincy
What did it for me was having only one 1st rounder [a late first at that] but landing 3 players who ultimately could end up performing like 1st rounders in Kyle Fuller [a steal at #25], JaWuan James [an even bigger steal at #60], and Khyri Thornton [the biggest steal of all in the 7th]. Some of the other drafts had impressive overall hauls but I didn't see them as being any different than my draft haul that was omitted from the list.

    Feud of the Year
Turdsniffer vs Kelvin Hayden... Kelvin Who Gives a Shat?

    Best Offense
    Cleveland
I had a few teams tied for first or close to it so I ultimately went with the GM who made the greatest transformation as the tiebreaker [and did so without leaving a backup QB, viable backup RB, and a 5th WR off his roster, yes I'm lookin' at you Fin-O. outstanding job.... but back that s**t up man. I know you're accustomed to hearing that phrase a lot, so perhaps this new context confused you IDK. :shifty:]. How much bigger of an offensive transformation can you make than fixing a bad QB situation with Cam Newton, a bad RB situation with a healthy Arian Foster, a bad WR situation with Mike Wallace, Michael Crabtree, and Davante Adams. Let's not forget Jordan Cameron at TE and a good O-line that was upgraded with the additions of Zack Martin and Gabe Jackson.

    Best Defense
    New England
I ultimately went with NE b/c they had better depth than St Louis and didn't have a key defender facing a suspension.

    Best Offensive Weapons
    Philadelphia
Doesn't get more impressive than this IMO. Inherited some great talent but went the extra mile to really knock it out of the park.

    Best Offensive Line

    Baltimore
    Bravo young Seabass, bravo.

    Best Front Seven
    Cincinnati
This was a very tough one for me, but with Aldon Smith's unfortunate impeding suspension and the Rams having no depth at DT, I'm going with Cincy. They're ready to compete now, have good D-line depth, and feature 3 players from the league's #1 defense who know what it's like to do the job right.
*If this is re-voted in two years it could very well go to Buffalo when Paul's rookie LBs are developed.

    Best Secondary
    Houston
After making secondary an emphasis, Houston got the slight nod over Atlanta.

    Rookie GM of the Year
    RoninFin4- Cincy
Took a more lifelike, minimalistic approach as a first year GM which he did a solid overall job of, won in the draft, didn't cost himself in trades, and maintained the integrity of the team by adhering to schemes and by focusing on keeping the defense a strength, if not improve upon it. Should be someone who vies for GM of Year honors in the future.

This would've been a closer race for me had Steve-Mo [New England] been a full draft participant. However I think all 8 rookie candidates did an admirable job and should be commended, and if a few of them were more active they'd probably get greater award consideration based on how well they did with lesser interaction. PhinishLine with a great draft. Magnolia making a nice splash in FA and trades. Liked Higgi's emphasis on bolstering the strength of the Cardinals, its defense, while also upgrading an anemic Oline. WyldColts might've received my ROY nod had he not milked the trade clock a few times in poor taste and didn't nominate the same 3 GMs for every category. FFG was easily right there with my vote for ROY without her infamous drunk trade. And our youngest GM, Seabass, built the league's best Oline [IMO] and took a decent Baltimore team, was incredibly active, and arguably made them better.

Note: Although Atlanta wasn't in any of my awards, I had them ranked 3c for GM of the Year and flip-flopped back and forth among the Falcons, Browns, and Steelers for the final spot.

Love you all!! But I guess I have to vote now... anyway, here we go

    Team on the Rise
Cleveland.. and I'm not even a big Cam Newton fan. But I think 24 did a solid job (as uuuuuge). Adding Luke Kuechly was a major coup and I love the Oline he has built with Zach Martin coming in.

    Team Built For Now
Seattle - this was a close one, for me between the Steelers and Seahawks. Going to give a slight edge to Seattle. part of my thinking process with this award is how many players are in their prime. I think that's what made it hard for me with Pittsburgh. They have a solid group of veterans on the roster. But Seattle and Wilson are coming off their SB. Could really argue this one both ways.

Free Agent Steal of the Year
Earl Mitchell, DT, Houston, $495k - gotta give it to the Dolphin.

    Draft Steal of the Year
Paul Richardson, WR, Atlanta, GML Draft 4.119, NFL Draft 2.45. Marcus Smith was a solid steal in terms of draft position... but I'm not that high on him personally... I considered my own evaluation of the player, not just the comparison of where he was drafted in the NFL vs the GML. I think Paul Richardson has all the tools to be a solid receiver in the NFL. The Seahawks got a good player here.

    Trade of the Year
Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers

This is the Josh Gordon trade.. I wonder if this would have drawn as much consideration for this award had Josh not been looking at a year suspension. I think not. Quite a hall under the circumstances for the Browns of course.

    Best In Trades
ah yes, well always my favorite. This was a tough one. A ton of trades to sift through
Pittsburgh got some great value but also had a couple of head scratchers (McCoy for White). Houston made a ton of moves, but didn't include them in their writeup... so I'm too lazy to jog on over to their team page. Cleveland, obviously had some great deals... Seattle... thought he gave up too much for Cam Wake as compared to what he gave up for Von Miller, but he did get some good value on a bunch of his trades. And the Titans didn't list their trades, but yet somehow got nominated. So for me it's between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Seattle... Close one.. again... Going with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Some major trades, a ton of moving parts, flipped a lot of players, very active. And I know first hand how hard it is to deal with you Boik in trades, so much respect

Best In Free Agency (notable players signed)
Philadelphia (Andre Roberts, Rodger Saffold, Mike Neal, Ryan Pickett, Tarell Brown) - I really thought the Eagles got some great value in their free agency acquisitions. Made a wise decision to resign Riley Cooper and took advantage of the resign process there. I reckon Cooper would have gone for more than that. I think Andre Roberts is a steal at $495k. Mike Neal at $1.9 is solid. Lots of good players for less than $1m.

    Best In Draft
Tough one, really tough. I thought 305 and the Saints had a good good draft, three #1 picks, and I thought he got good value at each one. I thought the Colts had a good draft as well, without having a #1 pick, two good WR's in the late 2nd round in Matthews and Landry, Marcus Smith in the 3rd, Storm Johnson in the 5th, Wesley Johnson in the 6th. But I have to give it to the Cincinnati Bengals. He's nominated twice in the Steal of the Draft thread. Kyle Fuller is solid in round 1 too. Ladler in the 6th round. I also thought the Falcons were solid and consistent, the Redskins had an explosive draft with the players they selected, and the Texans got great value at the end of round 1 in Lewan (and I liked the Brooks and Turner picks).

    Feud of the Year
I'm probably not allowed to vote in any of these since I was involved in all of them in some form or fashion. I will say this, if Todd does end up winning this category, for all the time and energy he spent arguing with me and everyone else, it's hard to say he deserves to be rewarded for being such a pain in the *** but you have to think he doesn't have a job or else he wouldn't have so much free time on his hands... so he could probably use the prize more than the other two who certainly didn't argue as well. :shifty: My vote is for Todd/Phinsational

    Best Offense
St Louis - he has Aaron Rodgers. It's hard for any of the other four to overcome that because they don't have a quarterback as good. He's my favorite player in the NFL not wearing a Dolphins' uniform. I only wish he could have worn a Bills' uni for me this year.

    Best Defense
Seattle - the best at every level of defense. Front... linebackers... and secondary.

Best Offensive Weapons Please consider depth as well as these notable players
Philadelphia (McCoy, Bryant, Evans, Maclin, Witten) It was between both teams from Pennsylvania. nod to the Eagles for their WR core, best in the GML... McCoy is a stud of course too.

    Best Offensive Line
Cleveland (Thomas, Zuttah, Mack, G. Jackson, Z. Martin) Probably because I'm higher on Zuttah more than most... but this is the best line IMO

    Best Front Seven
St Louis (Quinn, Suh, Brockers, Johnson, A. Smith, Ogletree, Washington) That is an absolutely viscous front seven.

    Best Secondary
Houston (Verner, Shields, Brooks, Quin) Probably a bit of a surprise (I haven't looked at how the other votes have gone). I can't keep giving Todd votes either... But I like this group of db's... plus Lane, Joseph and Harris... definitely the best depth in the league.

    Rookie GM of the Year
Let me just say that I was very proud of all of the rookies this year (except one who is no longer with us). This is the strongest group of rookies we've had since I started doing this back in 2008. It's very hard for me to pick one winner here as I think you are all winners.
RoninFin4 (Cincinnati)... going with Ronin. I loved the plan to get rid of Dalton and get Flacco. I like Flacco more than most of us here.

Oh you thought I'd forgotten something eh? well then... I'll be brief but to the point

So sorry for the delay guys, this summer has been crazy. I know we had a lot of time and I have no excuse for taking this long, but I saw Paul post he extended it by 24 hours. So here goes.

Sorry if this is late, got sidetracked by the Thunder game.

    GM of the Year
    1. Atlanta
Really liked what Atlanta did by adding a really good tight end and great depth at wide receiver for Matty Ice. Their offensive line is way better than last year. The defense looks really awesome with the addition of Gerald McCoy, Derrick Morgan, Akeem Ayers, CJ Mosley, and Stevie Brown.

    2. St. Louis
They acquired Aaron Rodgers and have a beastly defensive line. I really liked what they did.

    3. Cleveland
They have pretty terrible depth but if their team can stay healthy, they will be a tough team to beat.

    GM of the year
Eagles - This team went from a good team to one of the best in the NFL IMO.
Seahawks - It's hard to reward a team that was already the best in the NFL, but I thought he added even more talent and did a great job all around.
Falcons - I thought they had just a really solid offseason in all phases. I don't think I voted for them for any individual category, but could have easliy won a few of them

    Team on the rise
Buffalo - I thought they did a great job taking a team that doesn't have a ton of talent and putting them in a good position to contend.

    Team built for now
Seattle - This was really tough for me between Seattle and Philly. Both teams are loaded, but I think the Seahawks get the slight edge.

    FA steal of the year
Earl Mitchell - Call me a homer, but he's a good player that they got for nothing.

    Draft steal of the year
Taylor Lewan - Some good choices here, but I went less with where guys were actually picked in the draft than where they should have gone. Lewan is probably a top 10 talent in this draft and went 23rd. Great pick

    Best in trades
    Houston

    Best in FA
    Jets

    Best in draft
Washington - tough choice between the Skins and Falcons. Both were very good drafts. I love the impact players the Skins got though. Mack, ASJ, Bucannon, and Seastrunk could all be good starters quickly.

    Feud of the year
Todd vs the league - I didn't pay a ton of attention to the feuds this year, but I did see this one.

    Best offense
Philly - another standoff between the Eagles and Seahawks. I gave the slight edge to the Seahawks on the last one and to the Eagles here.

    Best defense
Seahawks - I really wanted to vote for the Steelers here because they have been so close on a lot of these and the Seahawks came into the offseason with a great defense, but they are just too talented not to give the vote to here, especially with the pickups of Wake and Donald.

    Best offensive weapons
Philly - Again the Steelers just miss out as McCoy > Sankey.

    Best OL
    Steelers

    Best front 7
Bengals - Tough with Seattle and St. Louis as well. All deserving, but I gave the slight edge to Cincy.

    Best secondary
Seattle - Really wanted to give this to Arizona, but Sherman/Thomas/Chancellor are just too good. They are all arguably the best at their position in the NFL.

    Rookie GM of the year
MagnoliaFan - Thought he did an excellent job with the Raiders who probably had the least amount of talent in the NFL coming in to the offseason.
Finfangirl - Was an absolute delight to have in the league this year. Made the league a little more enjoyable with her presence.
PhinishLine - I don't love going into the season with Cousins at QB, but I thought he did a lot of good things and had a great draft.

    GM of the year

1.Seattle - Best team continued the trend by still being the best team. Something near impossible in the GM league with the crazy amount of trading that occurs. Actually made Seattle better if that was possible.

2.Pittsburgh - Boik always does a great ****ing job running a team. Usually wins the trades, smart FA pick ups, and does a great job scouting for the draft.

3.Philadelphia - This was a toss up between the Iggles and Texans but Iggles slightly edge out the Texans. Did a great job getting some monster pieces for that team.
