Rondo is the clear cut better point guard. Westbrook is a streaky slasher two guard type who happens to bring the ball up the floor. Westbrook turns it over more than Rondo, and because he isn't a good passer struggles to get his teammates involved with any consistency. I doubt he'll ever win a championship as a team's primary ballhandler and distributor (aka...point guard).

Rondo's got 39 playoff games with 10+ assists. He also has ten playoff triple-doubles to go along with a ring. And he hasn't even played the last two postseasons.

Westbrook playing point guard is the main reason the Thunder have NO chance if they play Miami in the Finals. He's not a smart passer, he doesn't set the offense up well, he's inconsistent, and he turns into a black hole way too often. Heat fans should be pulling for OKC...the Thunder do not match up well with Miami AT ALL.

You guys have short memories. Yea he's been hurt the last two years, but if he's healthy and I want someone to run a championship-caliber offense while also being able to shut people down on the perimeter...it's Rondo all day.

Sect, i see some twitter chatter regarding Deng. I'd imagine at 29 he still wants to get paid one more time before chasing that ring, no?

Philosophy wise he would be a damn near perfect fit. Plays D and hits 3s. That's what we need. Just don't know how realistic that is tho.

I hope Bosh has one of his huge nights tonight. For his own sake. Wade and Lebron go off all the time...it's just so awesome when Bosh gets his jumper going and is fed the ball. Hard not to like the guy as a Heat fan, especially when he has the biggest rebound and assist in Heat history.

Fully expecting more home-cooking, aherm "agressiveness" from the Pacers.

I really love watching Cole play when he is confident. If he keeps developing his shot a bit more....I hope he's a Heat player for life. Kind of like UD.

Apparently doing a side jump in front of the dribbler is an offensive foul.

Chew on this. We are essentially beating them by 9 almost at the half in their house in a game pretty much played without Lebron James.

Would have been funnier if it wasn't his second basket of the game.

Also storyline so far...LOLPacers. Lebron is on the bench the entire half and you're still down by 9 at home in an elimination game.

    Seemed like forever.

The refs are going to have to step their game up in the second half. They did a solid job on LeBron, yes. But they have to find a way to keep the Heat away from the paint.

Well, PG can't blame the refs tonight. They are doing a damn good job trying to give the Pacers every chance at winning this one. Lebron, i feel your pain.

Lebron has barely played, Bosh is only 4-13 from the floor, we have taken 3 FT....and somehow lead.
