thought it deserved its own thread, listening to Philbin talk he was a bit coy in his wording of why Jason was there, saying ''its volunteer at this point'', but said he will be in the meetings rooms, weight rooms etc. i watched him say it a couple times and im hoping there might be chance of it happening, it didn't just sound like a friendly visit. I was thinking if someone followed him on twitter they could gauge his interest to see if hes looking at this for real. theres a couple photos at the official site that has him looking like a coach ill tell ya that.. get Danny a job, hire Jt, were cookin...cache baby.
While we're on the topic of coaching. Why do the coaches where long sleeve and windbreakers in South Florida? There a hydration thing to that or something? I saw Jason Taylor wearing a breaker and long sleeves so I think its pretty related.
hmmmmmmmmm I know when I ride my motorcycle for long amounts of time I'll wear longsleeve shirts to keep from cooking. Not sure if that's the reason.
He can help Dion Jordan learn a lot of techniques…. The Arm-Out Technique The Outside-Inside Counter Move Swim Move How to Drop Your Hips (And Someone Else's) Goalline D Stuffing The Run The Sack Celebration
Seems like he is trying out to be coach. But he is helping KC Rodgers as well, who is nicked up. Long sleeves? Maybe a way of building comradarie?
JT is multi-talented.He will succeed at anything he puts his mind to.If its coaching I think he will do well .He is a good communicator .Perhaps it will help him get into the HOF. Here is a highlight I made out of gifs I made the year he won DPOY .At that time there was no NFL.com and highlights were restricted. And the music had to be a non copyrighted materiall . He was a great football player. He was a good dancer. And look great doing it..Whooooooo But he will always be JT, a Miami Dolphin.
Calm down, you. Barry and Mike Pouncey are both scheduled for sensitivity classes as taught by Todd and CIF.
look at the vascular system of one Jason taylor...beautiful man right there. I know the debster agrees.
Was hoping they'd introduce the orange uni's again too. Thought they were coming out with those again this season.
The windbreakers are probably what they're required to wear per licensing/uniform rules, and the long sleeves are so they don't get the living **** burned out of them in the sun.
The top layer creates shade which allows ventilation to happen. Both materials have to be very light for this to work. Also as other have said the long sleeves also help against sunburn. But if you're going to go the trouble of doing that you should also wear a broad brimmed hat, which extends shade onto your shoulders, not a cap that only protects your face.
You're a rookie or second-season defensive end. How do you not try what Jason suggests you should be doing, official coach or not? Taylor, by the way, is obviously a Miami Dolphin to the core, whether he volunteers or gets paid.
Starks has an impressive looking tattoo system. But, gotta love JT - esp. if he can work with Jordan - in both pass rush and run D. JT was a great all around DE. The mass media, that really knew nothing, used to criticize JT for poor run D but the reality was, he was a very good run defender - using his quickness and leverage to get to the runner. Where he especially excelled was getting round the OT on interior run plays and getting to the RB just as he was reaching the line of scrimmage.
Randy Starks had a great line about JT coaching. He said "JT is helping the young guys with their pass rush, but no way in hell is he here to help with the run game." Nevertheless, it's awesome to see JT on the sidelines helping out, and I love how Philbin said they look forward to having Dolphin legends continue to come in and assist. JT working with Vernon and Dion Jordan is a ****ing godsend. Now lets get Marino working with Tannehill.
I've can't recall anyone criticizing Taylor's run D. Maybe late into his career, but throughout the 00's his run D wasn't criticized.
at the beginning of his career, he was criticized all of the time. I defended him a lot during his first three years. A lot of people didn't see anything special in him.
Ya know what's really sad about JT? He screwed up what could have been a Ray Lewis style ride in to the sunset for Hollywood fame and fortune. Dancing with the stars. NY city lights. Trying to set himself up for a movie star life after football... And Heath Evans dumbass is getting paid to swing by his lips from Beelzechecks nutsack on NFL network. Oh the irony.
And Amy and Derek totally should have won this year. Max got a sympathy tuck. Just sayin. Amy was inspirational.
