Interesting. That def spices that up a bit, doesn't it?! When was the last ladder match for the actual title? Been a bit, no?

For a vacant title? I don't know if that has ever happened. Then again the WWE years from 2002 to 2010 are all a giant blur to me. As far as a ladder match for an actual title would be last December for the unified WWE and WHC titles between Cena & Orton.

I enjoyed the turn. It was fairly obvious once Rollins was the only one who grabbed a chair, though. They probably needed to have all three grab one and THEN have Seth nail them. But having Seth turn heel is smart. He has long been called the glue and the architect. And depending on what his explanation is next week (I presume), this could work really well. Ambrose has a natural heelishness to him, but he is also VERY good in the Roddy Piper, tweener role.

My guess is we get Orton-Reigns (assuming Reigns isn't legit injured as the rumors suggest) and Ambrose-Rollins to start. This gives more life into all three Shield members, if you ask me. There wasn't much for them to do after Evolution. The time was now to strike. But the follow up is key. If they do a crappy job of explaining why Seth did this, it will fall flat.

    Some WWE news:

Daniel Bryan's rehab isn't going well, he's reportedly been losing strength in his right arm. As of right now the plan is at Summer Slam to have a Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar WWE title match but that can obviously change.

The Seth Rollins heel turn was decided on the Monday morning as Vince wanted to shake things up a bit due to last Monday's RAW's low rating.

The WWE is trying to sign Cody Hall, Scott's son, to a development deal but he has turned them down a few times because he says he wants to make a name for himself on the indy scene first. I think it's probably a smart choice although as soon as he does sign he'll probably be repackaged as Scott Ramon or Razor Hall based on the WWE's track record.

Ohhh don't be so negative. If that was the case we'd have Curtis Perfect, The Rikishi blonde hair thong wearing twins and two members of the IRS running around WWE.

Good points. Although having a tag team of two IRS guys just sounds like gold to me.

I guess my main issue is that the WWE doesn't let some of these guys use their real names because then they can't trademark them. I mean sometimes it makes sense not to in Bray Wyatt's case but would it really matter if Curtis Axel was just Joe Hennig, maybe it would help it get a little more over because of the name value.

I am completely judging a book by it's cover, I admit.....but every time I've seen Cody Hall on twitter, or in the ring he is cringe worthy terrible. Just cheese. And if anyone's trying to make a name for himself, it's not him, dude mimics everything Razor used to do from the strut, the shoulders, the neck, the facial expressions etc.

I've never seen him wrestle to be honest with you but I don't doubt he's probably green as hell. But he's got a lot of people in his corner helping him out like his father, Jake Roberts and DDP to name a few. Just looking at him though he probably needs to add some muscle mass as he reminds me of Cody Rhodes when he first started with the WWE and looked like he was still in high school.

Yea he def has his dads frame, tall big shoulders.....if he added muscle he would look the part. I hope he ends up doing good work. IT's cool to see a son follow in his papas foot steps; especially one of my old faves, Razor.

I heard that the Rollins heel turn was actually in the works for about a month, as opposed to a hot shot booking decision.

I heard both actually but Meltzer is reporting that it was done Monday afternoon to shake up the ratings as the original script for RAW didn't have the turn featured, instead of the main event was suppose to be Cena vs. Kane.

Might be both. HHH was said to call a meeting saying there needs to be better stories, better flow, and better involving stories involving mid carders and maineventers. Maybe Vince wanted Cena/Kane.....and HHH wanted the juicy heel turn....and maybe Vince agreed last minute?

    Let me get on record....

I hate the Rollins Heel turn.

    it smacks of Panic booking.

The Shield was HOT....ride them till they get lukewarm..then have the turn...

It's possible although if anything Triple H was planning the heel turn for about a month now as part of a long term booking decision and Vince decided to do it on Monday.

I agree completely, I think the WWE could have done a lot more with The Shield as a group. They were on fire as faces and were the main focus of the show since WM, I'm worried one or more of them will be lost in the fold now.

Should be interesting to see how they explain the turn and hopefully Rollins has new wrestling gear since he wrestled in The Shield attire on Smackdown.

You think they might call up someone from NXT to become a new SHIELD member?

If they do, I could definitely see them calling upon Sami Zayn, since both him and Rollins competed against each other during their times as El Generico and Tyler Black, respectively.

I'd rather just have The Shield break up for good instead of trying to add someone else. I'd much rather see Zayn alone.

    Then that is predictable.

They still have the opportunity to have Rollins be a "inside guy" that infiltrated the Authority and can turn back and get back with Ambrose and Reigns.

Eh, I don't like a hundred turns for guys in a short time span as it loses the effectiveness when that wrestler does turn again. At this point people don't even blink when The Big Show or Kane turns much like Luger back in the day.

And there's nothing wrong with predictable if it's done right.

    Some rumored MiTB matches:

    Rollins vs. Ambrose
    Reigns vs. Orton
    Rusev vs. Mark Henry

Reigns would then face Rollins at Battleground and Triple H at Summer Slam.

Hey great news for Kane fans, even if Bryan is able to wrestle at MiTB the reason why he will face Kane in a Stretcher Match instead of a Buried Alive match is because the feud won't end after that match as the WWE wants them to have another match at Battleground. Seriously. And they wonder why people don't care.

Yeah I mean, ok I get that the WWE doesn't have any top heels for Bryan to work with since they wanted to run an Evolution vs. Shield feud, although I question why there weren't any follow up rematches with Bryan against Triple H, Orton or Batista or why after the RAW after WM it seems like Bryan has been on a completely different show than Evolution, but how can the WWE think the fans want to see the Bryan/Kane feud keep going? Geez throw Bray Wyatt into the mix or something.

It's almost 100% official but the MiTB match will be for the WWE title as Bryan isn't recovering as quickly as the WWE hoped. An announcement is expected tonight regarding the situation.

Bryan stripped. BnB loses to Shaemus for qualifying match. So my two faves Ziggler and Barrett are out. That blows. Hopefully they keep BnB's IC run legit and relevant.

Besides BNB's win vs. RVD at Payback has he won a match since winning the IC title?

Unfortunately I have no hope the secondary titles will ever be meaningful again.

Remember when Sandow won the MiTB case last year and everyone thought he was going to get a big push and break out? A year later he's dancing around the ring in a nude leotard, a few weeks after he dressed up in a Magneto costume. The WWE ladies and gentlemen.

I was never a big Sandow fan so whatever but I just don't understand why the WWE does these fake pushes, whether they gave a guy a title or brief case then continue to job him out until the fans literally stop caring about the guy. I mean it happens all the time, should be interesting to see where BNB is 6 months from now. This 50/50 booking does no one any favors.

The WWE is going to be adding another MiTB match for the regular brief case to challenge the WWE champion at a later date at the MiTB PPV.

I actually didn't mind Cena coming out to help The Shield as it shows they are on his level. I thought the The Shield promo and Rollins one were good.

I didn't finish RAW last night but they booked another Cena/Wyatt PPV match? Or are they both in the MiTB match?

This makes me happy. Want to see BnB, Ziggler, Big E, Rusev?, maybe a nxt call up. The risers in the company on the up-swing.

Well I like that too, I am just tired of Cena/Wyatt.

Nothing was announced, but good call on the MitB match. That will probably happen. Will be a real good ppv hopefully. Payback was better than expected. This is usually a lull. Things are fun right now.

My wife hears shields music for their main event match and shes like "jesus they've been on like a million times tonight"......I said two things.

    1. Believe in the shield.

    2. They are the biggest things going right now. No champion, over as ****, just got "Sons of anarchy" style back stabbed, and everyone wants to see what happens next.

For those who caught the segment I'm guessing Cody Rhodes partner for Goldust is Tyler Breeze...That could at least be nominally entertaining...anything has to be better than whats happened since "the break up".

I think having someone like Samy Zayn, Tyler Breeze or Neville in the MiTB match would be a great way to introduce them to the crowd and I'd have that guy really look like the star of the match but ultimately lose ala Shelton Benjamin in the first few MiTB matches to a more established guy. Really the winner should probably be Rollins, Ambrose, Reigns or Bray since I don't trust the WWE to seriously get behind anyone else.

Although what I'd love to see happen is all 6 or 7 guys in the match are down and out at the same time and a wrestler not in the match comes from the back or from the crowd and runs up the ladder and grabs the titles. I think it would be a perfect spot for someone like Ziggler or even Brock or Batista, although Daniel Bryan would be great too. Imagine the crowd reaction for that? You have a fan favorite who the crowd will absolutely get behind basically come out of nowhere and grab it. Then you have a built in storyline where The Authority is pissed that wrestler "broke the rules" and they demand to get the title back etc.

Either way you have a surprise/shocking type ending that will get people talking and it's something that's never been done before.

Wishful thinking I know, as we'll most likely get John Cena or Orton winning it.

I am worried Miz will get into the MitB match since Flair is rumored to be with him, and he just got cleared. We'll see.

Bray Wyatt won a qualifying match against Ambrose during Smackdown taping. and Rumor has it Cena will be other competitor. Leaving one spot. Probably going to get a Ambrose/Rollins match at MitB. Reigns will be final participant in MitB ladder match. HHH will screw him setting up for Summerslam ppv.

Yeah I'm sure we will get another Miz US/IC title reign soon, especially with his new movie coming out. I dread a Miz/Flair partnership but kind of want it for comedy sake because the fans will absolutely crap all over it.
