Could you imagine Pat Riley negotiating a treaty with Russia? He'd have them bombing China in black and red bombers in a week.

On tonights game I have the Spurs 103-96. I think Pop comes up with something to negate James guarding Parker who clearly initiates the spurs offense. There is clearly a way to negate James one on one defense vs guards, I just dont know if the Spurs can run a triangle or if it would even benefit them. Since a triangle requires so little of a PG in terms of running or initiating the offense James would essentially be wasted spending time on Parker.

Like I said earlier, running the offense through Manu or running the offense out of the high post with Duncan and Diaw would also allow a similar effect. Use Parker basically just to bring the ball up, dump in to the high post and have Duncan and Diaw, both excellent passers for big men, hit cutters to the hoop and off screens. Its a more complicated set but if anyone can run it....

James on any PG is a joke. Between the size advantage and the jumping ability, its like a boxer fighting with one hand behind his back. Parker if hes going to have success vs James needs to drive and dish not drive and shoot until the passes are being anticipated.

Pretty sure he could bring free market capitalism to North Korea. Rodman's been the wrong guy since day one.

If Pop can't find a way to stop the 1-3 pick and roll, none of his other adjustments will matter.

Parker taking his shot back at Chalmers, except Parker is a little cry baby and didnt hurt him at all.

^ That said Chalmers has played terribly this series and if he doesn't play better he just shouldnt be playing period.

Yeah thats not the refs. Thats the spurs playing amazing basketball. No disrespect intended, the spurs just played one of the best quarters of basketball I have ever seen any team play. Gimme 15 more quarters like that and Ill show you a 5 game series. That was ridiculous and probably unsustainable

Just need to play defense. Their pace is completely unsustainable, unless anyone seriously thinks they will score 164 points.

Can't miss and getting every call.

    This is the result.

Unbelievable. Clinic right now. Even their crazy passes that look like sure turnovers end up wide open threes

The DG steal was a foul, the second one. He raked Wade across the arm. The play on Splitter that was a foul was the EXACT same play Lebron didnt get called.

The refs are a joke, but so is our defense right now.

The first 4 minutes, the refs were helping IMO... the remaining 8? They were just making everything and passing the ball extremely well.

It's really simple. They are a weak team when you pressure them with athleticism. Play some damn defense and this game will turn fast.
