Would really like to know if he was actually on Hickey's radar? On one hand, you could say the signing of Finnegan kinda precludes us from much interest, particularly what we're paying him but as has been mentioned here, Flowers may just be an upgrade to any DB we have save for Grimes. I can't remember and don't want to spend the time to look it up, but what kind of cap hit would there be if we signed Flowers and at some point perhaps dumped Finnegan prior to the season's start??

My real question is just what kind of feelings they have for Taylor...Hickey has no ties to him. He flashed a bit, but didn't got over the injury issues until it was too late in the season for him to learn the D and contribute...

I don't think I'd be surprised if they inquired into Flowers, but then I don't think I'd be shocked if they didn't...

I'm not going to pretend to know whether or not signing Brandon Flowers is a good idea or not, but overall - I hope with Ireland gone, Miami is done turning their nose up at veteran players who can fill holes on a roster post draft. I understand you you build a team through the draft, but how many glaring holes did Miami have under Ireland's tenure that could have been mitigated by signing a quality veteran player and the move either wasn't made or the move was to bring in an unproven or washed up player, e.g. Legadu Nanee, (sp? and I'll never bother trying to spell that bums name correctly) and Ocho Cinco.

I don't know why you guys care about who New England signs, they're winning the division regardless people. The only thing we can focus on is one of the two wildcard spots.

I agree because of Brady, and the finest corner in the game, but if Gronk can't get a full year in they really don't have anything on the offensive end that scares me.
