It'd be pointless not to have it.

The WWE is concerned that if they have a 2nd MiTB match then there would be no matches for the undercard. I don't think it would be pointless, I just think the Bryan situation kind of put all plans on hold for a long time and screwed with the planning.

I wonder if there isn't a 2nd MiTB match that if we will get one on RAW or another PPV as the brief case angle is something that is popular among the fans and would obviously help ratings wise if it was on RAW for example.

    Some WWE news:

There are no plans to add Rollins to Evolution or add a new member to The Shield.

Both Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn are not fans of Adam Rose.

Vince doesn't want to have a physical location for a WWE HOF while Triple H does.

I don't mind that at all. I want Rollins on his own doing his own thing. Really Evolution should be done right now since Batista is gone. Just have Orton and Rollins be backed by The Authority.

A bunch of WWE wrestlers have been released today:

    Askana
    Curt Hawkins
    Teddy Long
    Evan Bourne
    Brodius Clay
    Tatshi
    Camancho

Its too bad Bourne got hurt and then got put in the dog house when he got back then got hurt again. The others on the list are no big deal. Frankly I'm surprised there weren't more being cut.

EDIT: Word is more are expected either today or in the next week or so. Zack Ryder must be pretty nervous right now.

EDIT 2: 3MB (minus Heath Slater he still has a job for now) have been released. So has JTG.

Zack Ryder must be rocking back and forth in the corner of his apartment right now, freaking out every time his phone rings.

There are rumors going around that Sting will be the last guy in the MiTB match and will be appearing on RAW Monday.

It would make sense with the casting call the WWE put out recently for Sting look a likes.

I had an idea a while back to have Cody-Goldust fued where Cody was heel and mimic Goldust character. Ultimately Cody going to turn on Goldust as stardust but I like it!

Eh kind of lukewarm on it. If it leads to another push of the team and good matches with The Usos and Wyatts and other tag teams, sure I'm all for it. But if this is just an excuse to break up the team and have them feud with each other by Summer Slam, what's the point?

Man RAW has been terrible for months now. Just boring outside of a match or two nothing really going on. The only positive from last night (besides from the good Rollins/Ziggler match) was Cena beating Kane in the stretcher match so we don't have to see a Bryan/Kane stretcher match.

So much for the WWE's rumor about Sting I guess.

I liked that it was better than a few recent ones. More matches one after another. I marked like a mad man when Rusev faced off with Reigns.

For Rusev to not get stale as hell (he already is)....he needs to be challenged....he needs to look strong. Beating Xavier Woods doesnt do that.

The backstage shenanigans and what-not was fun, attitude era like. The main event was a ****ing bore and the most predictable thing I've ever seen. soooooo bad.

The Rusev/Reigns battle was fun because it was something new. Fans are tired of the same Orton vs. Cena, Kane vs. anyone stuff.

I think Rusev running through the WWE jobbers is fine for him at the moment. Remember Ryback got over from doing exactly that. Goldberg got over for doing that for a solid year. The issue will be once that runs its course what's next for him. I still think they can milk Rusev beating up Kofi Kingston and company for awhile. There's no need to rush pushing him, especially with the WWE always doing their 50/50 booking style once they decide to really push someone.

The backstage shenanigans was the direct result of the WWE firing it's head writer Jay Gibson. Vince helped write the majority of last night's RAW, hence why there was so much "humor" involved.

The WWE has also cut their NXT production budget and there are still going to be more talent cuts coming within the next month or so.

While it sucks for the individual wrestlers and other staff workings losing their jobs, it could be a good opportunity for them to leave the WWE to establish themselves outside. It's also good for the company to "trim the fat" so to speak and get rid of a lot of their dead weight which leads to new guys getting opportunities.

So Reigns and Ambrose go there Separate ways, Reigns is going after the Authority and doesn't mind that Rollins beat the crap out of him with a Steel Chair but Ambrose does. Am I missing something Here on How Lousy of a Job was done for a Break-up a Wrecking Machine to just basically go away in 3 weeks . With 2 of them going at each other and Rollins gave one simple Promo and That's it.

Everything is headed towards a Triple H/Reigns match at SS, so they needed to start to plant that seed. Ambrose is getting Rollins at MiTB so it leaves Reigns with nothing to do, so I don't mind it too much. Reigns will most likely face Rollins at the next PPV, which I think is Battleground, then move on to Triple H at Summer Slam. THEN Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns stuff will be forgotten about.

But I agree the break up angle hasn't been done great, although the Ambrose promo last Monday was pretty good.

It still bugs me that Rollins is still in full Shield gear. Hopefully that changes at the PPV or it will start to remind me of how Tito Santana still wore his "Strike Force" tights for a solid 3 plus years after the team broke up.

Yeah, he absolutely needs a make over and some ring gear that sets him apart and makes him different from everyone else.

On the flip side so do Ambrose and Reigns. If they want to wear the Shield gear when they're teaming up, great I'm all for it. But once they go off on their own, which I'm assuming will happen sooner than later, they need new gear too.

Now there is going to be a second MiTB brief case match and Rollins has stated he's going to be in it. So I guess the Rollins/Ambrose match is off? Was it even officially announced? If it is off I'm guessing we're probably going to get Reigns/Ambrose vs. Rollins/Orton at Battleground then Ambrose vs. Rollins and Triple H vs. Reigns at SS.

Happy about the 2nd MitB match. Also Rollins and Ambrose debuted new ring attire on smackdown. I saw Pics. Ambrose is in jeans and a white wifebeater. Rollins looks like hes in capri scuba gear. Supposedly he took off the shirt while wrestling and looks a bit like "snake" from the escape from LA movies.......

    Some Thursday morning WWE news/rumor:

The plan right now is still to have Brock Lesnar face the WWE champion at Summer Slam, with the storyline being Brock wants to be the champion again.

Triple H is very high on Cesaro but Vince McMahon is still lukewarm on him.

Regarding the Lesnar SS rumor, if true then expect Cena or Orton to walk away with the WWE title at MiTB. It would make no sense to have Reigns, Wyatt or Cesaro win it then drop it so quickly to Brock, as I have to assume he'll end up with the title at SS or the win over The Undertaker would be pointless.

About Cesaro, not sure if I really buy about Vince but who knows. Vince changes his mind more times then babies get their diapers changed.

Maybe have someone like Reigns win it, and have him beat Lesnar dirty....still keeping up with the Brock domination thing, and building a good feud. I mean how long will Brock be champion once winning at SS? I friggin hate when they have a part time champion.

You can't have Brock lose his very next match after beating The Undertaker, it makes the whole beating the streak pointless. You basically have to have Brock stream roll everyone until WM31, then if they want someone like Reigns beat him for the title to pass the torch it would make sense and actually help push Reigns into the next tier superstar status.

The million dollar question is obviously IF Brock wins the title what happens to the belt because he's not going back on the road full time and the WWE has already been without a fighting champion since Extreme Rules. So it would completely hurt the title if it wasn't defended for a few months and the WWE can't strip Brock of the belt for not defending it and have yet another vacant title match. I honestly don't know what they will do. Maybe have Brock completely destroy the champion and have the ref stop the match and declare Brock the winner but because he didn't make the champion pin or submit he's can't win the title, then have a rematch at Survivor Series where Brock wins the title for real. He could defend it at the Rumble and then WM. Or maybe the WWE can work out a deal where he wrestles at every other PPV. I don't know.

But the WWE CANNOT have Brock lose at all, he needs to be booked as an unstopppable monster that no one has a chance to beat. So when he finally does lose it means something. Which is how Brock should have been booked since his return instead of losing to Cena in his very first match (and Cena sandbagging him and going off script at the end of the match) then trading wins with Triple H so Triple H and his ego would be happy and he could tell his grandkids how he beat Brock at WM. But that's the WWE for you, they never forget about gruges and they need to stroke their own egos first even if it's bad for business.

I agree with all this, my main point was in agreeance with yours about the vacant title, or the title not being defended. Maybe have him dominate at SS.....win the title....then come out on Raw have him win like a triple threat match with ease....then Heyman comes on the mic and says "We will be back when there is a SUITABLE opponent for my client; until then DON'T WASTE OUR TIME"....then Brock disapears....have some feuds....build up Reigns or someone as some beast 2.0 defeating everyone he meets....no matter who it is, what the odds, and keep having him marking "x's" for every one he beats....and have him stalking Heyman on Raw.....following him backstage.....punching his hand....have Reigns beat Cesaro with an F-5 and stare down Heyman as he pins him 1...2..3...Heyman gulps....you see in his eyes.....Reigns actually MIGHT have a chance here....then at Suvivor series or Rumble even....slow burn it like crazy....Have reigns dominate the Rumble again....maybe have him eliminate Batista this time.....build a feud of Batista and Reigns through Elimination chamber....have Reigns beat Batista for #1 contender.....Brocks back....and it's Brock saying "you want it...come get it" and the face off would be huge....Reigns Vs Brock at WM.....you're welcome!!!! /Sandow

After Cena won the match, he was suppose to immediately stand up then collapse in the ring and be carried out by EMTs and take a few months off to really sell the beating from Brock (and also because Cena was legit hurt and nursing some nagging injuries), so while Cena won the match Brock would keep his heat as taking Cena out and putting him on the DL for awhile. Instead for whatever reason and it's never been really reported as to why but Cena decided to go off script and grab the mike and cut a promo, I forget what he said in the promo but it was basically how he's sticking around or something like that. Cena never took his scheduled break and he was never punished for it.

So now you have the hottest act in the WWE in Brock, that the fans could buy into as a serious monster heel and was more over than anyone in the company, lose to Cena in his first match and is left with nothing to say or do about it. Of course Brock jobbed in his first match so the WWE could say our best superstar beat a UFC Champion so that means the WWE is better than the UFC and also as punishment for Brock leaving the WWE for the NFL in 2004 because the WWE and Vince is petty like that.

Yeah pretty much. Which is why I think Cena will end up with the title at MiTB and then lose to Brock, because "he owes him one" and it would be a good drawing match with an undercard of Triple H/Reigns will make for a good SS.

I honestly don't remember where I heard the story, whether it was a podcast or on the internet, but remember the original plans where for Cena to win then fall down in the ring to sell the beating Brock gave him and take a few months off to heal up but Cena decided to change things. Whether it's true or not, it's wrestling so who knows.
