    Btw Nabo..

Wade was a 22 PER player this past year.

Average salary in the nba for 22 and above PER was 17,456,000 per year.

Yeah..you were slightly off on his "worth"

Stats are ****T. Stats are for gamblers and degenerate corporate *******s.

Wade did so good this year, why didn't he step up when it counted aganst SA? Why didn't he at least force the series to be competitive? What did he do to ACTUALLY WIN?

    ****. THAT'S what he did.

$3.3 is generous. I'm sure he'll get more because Bron and Bosh will take less, because they're a family.

But in a business, a declining asset is worth less. End of story.

I'm not really sure I follow Nabo.

Beasley played well against SA when he finally got a chance, is he our second best player? One series does not make a career or season. Hell by this logic Lebron wasn't our best player in 2010...why didn't he step up against Dallas?

Alright, this is going to happen this way: Quit the cursing and attacks. If you cant quit those Ill quit them for you while you ponder some points and maybe time off. That goes for all involved. No one wants to read a bunch of name calling, suggestive insults, etc.

If you want to continue the discussion in a normal and civilized manner youre welcome to.

Hornets come out of draft with Noah Vonleh, PJ Hairston, and 15 million in cap space...very good draft imo

"Worth" has ZERO bearing on value in this scenario, and it hasn't since 2010. If it did, 1-3-6 would be collecting close to $30M a season. But that's not this world and you know it.

This is the world in which someone, maybe Melo, maybe someone else, is gonna forgo about half what he could make to come win trophies here. And the best player in the world? If things really break his way financially when what's left is what's left, will make about $13-14M when he could have made $30M in FA.

You can play crappy in the Finals and still be a great player, if anything I'd say his opinion counts more now that emotions have cooled off and he can actually...ya know think clearly about it. I know I was -pissed- Wade had a poor finals, but then again Harden has had a poor playoff career and he's still a great player too.

I have to say it's really funny that Wade takes more crap than someone like Kobe who is probably never going to have a Kobe-like season again, took a massive contract that hurt his team and is a guy you don't really want to play with now.

    Yes..Harden is a Great player.

And his First Round...(this is key) was as bad as Wade's ...FINALS.

In faxt..harden has been horrific in the postseason....he is still great though.

Really? In what bizarro universe? A guy who can't hit a pressure shot when the big money is on the line, but who racks up meaningless points during the meaningless regular season. He's your #1 SG?

Seriously, 29 other SGs and their backups, and this one is #1.

That's some solid Knicks logic right there.

Hornets, Knicks, Nuggs, Sixers, Bulls, Heat did well for themselves, imo. Strong draft class certainly helps. The Celtics picks are intriguing as well.

I also like what the Sixers did in this draft. In my eyes, they got the best prospect in this draft and will probably do the same with Embiid that they did with Noel last year. Then, they were able to grab Saric while at the same time getting their 1st round pick back from the Bynum fiasco.

You pair Embiid with Noel, and you have a nice front line. They're going to be piss poor again this season, so they'll probably get a top 3-4 pick. In a couple years, the Sixers are going to have a real good core of young talent.

He was also great in the playoffs and spectacular in ECF's vs. Best defense in the NBA...

But who cares? You only care about 3 games in a nba finals where the team got murdered and no big shots were to be had.

There are teams that the league should just take over and sell to better owners with sound management in tow.

I'm not sute the Sixers belong there...yet. But Cleveland, with three #1 picks in four years? That is just horrific use of assets and incompetent management. And chances are, this isn't their last turn at the trough this decade.

    Live from the Internet.
Sect, assuming the three of them hop out, get few pieces, Big 3 resigns and they bring in Ennis going in to the camp, what are chances that Wade would agree to come off the bench, and would the organization even consider approaching him about it? I recall Riley making a comment during his press conference how he would have to go in a room with boxing gloves to even bring it up to him.

Really? Would you care to post Harden's first round PPG, RPG, APG, SPG vs Wade's finals PPG, RPG, APG, SPG?

    Notice you didn't say FG%.

    Hopeless.

The hilarious part is you dont get the irony of you wanting to compare a FIRST ROUND performance to a FINALS performance.
