These two young players have a chance to grow with each other thru their prime, their combination of skillsets as it relates to the the middle of the field, feels like it's gonna mesh well, Wallace given them that little extra space to operate, two very tough possession guys who play some smart football, Landry knows how to sit, Clay has really stepped up reading coverage and finding himself available..Landry hands are sure, and clay really had good hand coordination and focus last year.

I'm excited about these two working together, I can see them on the field, and it's quite unique..

What kind of mismatches do These two skillsets, together, pose to a defense with Wallace on the outside?

That's the reason I was so pleased when they drafted Landry. If Clay can play at the same level as last season this could become a real nightmare for defenses. Mismatches and sure hands is a great combo.

I love an offense that can just keep moving the chains all game long through the passing game, like the Colts of about 7-10 years ago. I don't know that any of our players on offense are as good as any of those Colts starters, but if we can use that same theme - 2 out wide, 2 inside, throw to the open man - I'll be delighted.

I think what Landry will bring is what Wes Welker brings. They threaten underneath and move the chains. Landry has better hands and is more physical. He, Clay, Wallace... and Hartline(!)... should do a good job of spreading defenses out. The rest is up to Tannehill, the OL, and the running backs.

I can't wait to see Landry play.

Wes Welker has always been a great football player, I can only wish that Juice has that in him..

Welker has special skills that many folks don't recognize.

Landry could have some different ones that may translate, he may just be able to be smart enough to own the middle.
