Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero Bad snap by backup C Sam Brenner. Rolled to the QB. Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley Deep from Tannehill to Wallace? Underthrown. Broken up by Will Davis, who was a step behind Wallace. Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly Tannehill's deep pass to Mike Wallace is broken up by Will Davis. No chance on the floater. Hal Habib @gunnerhal Moment fans waited for: Mike Wallace goes deep on right sideline, Ryan Tannehill flings it ... and Will Davis breaks it up.
Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP Tannehill underthrows to Wallace on deep pass. Will Davis breaks up pass. Crowd goes "ooohhh" then "ah" Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero First deep throw attempt by Ryan Tannehill to an open Mike Wallace ... Underthrown. Broken up Will Davis. Dave Hyde @davehydesports Tannehill's first deep pass to own open Mike, Wallace? Underthrown. Broken up. Just observing. Chris Perkins @chrisperk Will Davis breaks up deep ball from Tannehill to Wallace. Ball was underthrown. Here we go again.
Not sure I am going to be able to read the reports this year if every single incomplete pass (in practice) is followed by "here we go again" or something along those lines.
James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL #Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill throws deep to Mike Wallace, who wins by a couple steps. But Wallace had to slow down and Davis bats the ball. Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly Some of these play action fakes the Dolphins are using are really deceptive. James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL Good play by CB Will Davis to recover. But Ryan Tannehill didn't put enough on the deep ball. Danny Rabinowitz @DannyWQAM Here at camp Ryan Tannehill just badly under threw Mike Wallace. Offense spreading the ball well though with designed QB roll outs. Chris Perkins @chrisperk CB Brent Grimes changed shoes. Was wearing fluorescent green shoes. Now wearing white. Will Davis still green shoes.
Hal Habib @gunnerhal Halfway through practice and Steve Ross is still out in middle of fields rather than overhead in shade, paying someone to sweat for him. James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL The weather here is picking up in Davie and it's not even 10am. #DolphinsTrainingCamp
Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP Offense looks a little rusty, not surprisingly. A couple of bad snaps, false starts. Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP While Shelley Smith opened at center, Dolphins also are giving Sam Brenner snaps at center. Even last year Pouncey wasn't always at center.
I'm not going to get too concerned just because Tanny's first pass was underthrown. But I would hope that gets rectified fairly quick.

I kind of like Colledge at LG and Thomas at RG for now. I think it gives you some time to let Billy Turner acclimate to the NFL, and perhaps he's the LG down the road as Colledge is on a 1-year deal. Thomas and James on the right side at least gives you familiarity over there and some more size/power. If they both stick, perhaps the real question becomes what does Miami do with Mike Pouncey? Especially if Shelley Smith shows out at center. Wishful thinking ahead at this point, but I'm intrigued.
Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly Mike Pouncey and Knowshon Moreno are doing their rehab assignment. Pouncey moves very gingerly. James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL Injured #Dolphins C Mike Pouncey and RB Knowshon Moreno appear to be in good spirits. Both are working on the side with a trainer. James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL For what it's worth, #Dolphins K Caleb Sturgis just nailed a pair of 33-yard field goals. Chris Perkins @chrisperk #Dolphins going inside bubble for 5-min cool down session. That's new this year. Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly The Dolphins are going inside the bubble. I'm puzzled. No rain. This is new. James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL #Dolphins players return to the practice field following their break. Chris Perkins @chrisperk C Shelley Smith nice job v. DT Earl Mitchell in 1-on-1 drill. Good feet by Smith.
Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly Just watched Randy Starks run around Dallas Thomas with ease during 1 on 1. That's not unusual, but not good. James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL #Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill hits WR Mike Wallace on a crossing route in 7-on-7s. Hal Habib @gunnerhal A fan has popped up painted all over in aqua and orange. And the paint doesn't even appear to be running in this sauna. Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP Tannehill and Wallace connect on a deep bomb. Nice catch in coverage. Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly Tannehill throws into triple cover to Wallace. Will Davis breaks up the pass.
Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP Will Davis has been active today. Of course, he was the star of training camp last year. James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL QB Ryan Tannehill hits a deep ball and misses one to WR Mike Wallace today. Fifty percent is not bad. #Dolphins @OmarKelly JaWuan James just put Cameron Wake down during 1 on 1. Good sign. Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero Daryn Colledge just stoned DT Earl Mitchell at line of scrimmage in one on one blocking drill. James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL Ryan Tannehill makes another nice throw to WR Brian Hartline. He's doing better in 7-on-7s. Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero Cameron Wake slaps Ja'Wuan James hands away and blows past rookie in one on one. Expected at this point. Chris Perkins @chrisperk Tannehill inc on deep ball to Damian Williams. A but overthrown by Tannehill starting to air it out. Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero Catch by Egnew in the flat. Chris Perkins @chrisperk Dion Jordan doing Ok in 1-on-1 drills. LT Nate Garner just did well vs. Jordan, however.
Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero Dolphins still working Nate Garner at backup LT. Bad idea. He's better at RT or G. Chris Perkins @chrisperk OL did ok in 1-on-1 drills vs. DL. That's promising. But nothing means much til they put on pads. Chris Perkins @chrisperk G Davonte Wallace getting medical attention in end zone.
@ArmandoSalguero A little strange that Dolphins have only Caleb Sturgis as their kicker in camp. Not like he was great as a rookie. Could use competition. Expand 2m Hal Habib @gunnerhal Mixed bag for Tannehill in 11-on-11. Hard to tell if it's the QB or new center Shelley Smith's fault. #Dolphins Expand 7m Armando Salguero @ArmandoSalguero Fumbled snap (another one) on Tannehill-Smith exchange. 8m Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly Matt Hazel with a nice deep catch. Armando should go ahead and apply for to be our Oline coach since he's obviously smarter than ours with his deep knowledge of Nate Garners game. Omar Kelley calls our 3rd team/developmental team, team scrub....I don't need your digs, give me the facts. Dbag.

Wake and Jordan the ends. 7m Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly For the record, I judge quarterbacks by touchdowns and turnovers. 8m Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly I didn't see every single snap (too much talking, too many distractions) but based on what I saw there was no INTs heading into final 11s. 9m Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP Derrick Shelby is on the exercise bike, not participating in team drills.
@AdamHBeasley 1m Cam Wake vs. Ja'Wuan James is not fair. If James can learn how to block Wake, he'll be able to block anyone.

Besides the deep connection with Wallace... this one is also worth a repeat and if we can overreact, the best of the rest...
Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP 2m Shelley Smith says he's never started a game at center at any level. Said he found out shortly before camp that he's the guy. well that settles that
@AbramsonPBP 6m Mike Wallace on low Dolphins expectations: They're sleeping on us. We're gonna wake their *** up.
I dont want to hear any yap from any of the Phins players....about waking anyone up. Its their damn fault we been put to sleep. Put the ball in the endzone..win some games. Then everyone will be awake.

So glad we don't have to hear about that Lebron character anymore.. And that Miami is back to being a football town. I bleed aqua and orange and always will.
The stadium improvements sound exciting. New bowl, lower level will be closer to the field, a roof and some new scoreboards by 2016. That's the right direction for the team. Kudos Steve Ross.
