Walt Aikens' teammate from Liberty. I think they signed him after the rookie-tryout camp. But, I mean, you know, he's a camp body.
Exactly - it's practice. With any group activity, competitive or otherwise, you get together to go over things and work out the kinks. Figure out what works and what doesn't, try new things. Personally i'd be more worried about how he looks as a whole at practice vs focusing on a few interceptions. I'm a musician and i can relate it to trying out band members - if a guy plays really well but makes a few mistakes - great, and well work on the mistakes. If a guy sucks as a player but knows the whole song, he still sucks - see ya!
Boooooooooooooo Seriously Tannehill just throw it up as high as you can to Wallace, he either catches it or gets a flag for us....win/win
I was disappointed they didn't include the Hageman fight against Hawley where they thought he fractured his wrist. But still... And, Bryan Cox with "Cupcake".
I didn't catch last night's episode, but I'm looking forward to watching next week's. We should get a little insight into the Dolphins game.
Lots of behind the scenes complaining about the Seahawks I assume. They found a loophole and used it to perfection. So before the entire league starts mugging WRs down the field on every other play the NFL changes the rules. Fine by me, we don't play much press and we have receivers who could use some extra breathing room...
I don't worry about Moreno not getting reps yet. He's a very very smart player who can do whatever you need him to do. He was great in a fast up-tempo shotgun offense last year with tons of adjustments at the line. The mental and versatility aspects of the game are not problems for him at all, imo. As long as he's fit and gets some work in the later preseason games he'll be fine. Truthfully it might actually be better that Miller and Gills are able to take his practice reps cause they probably benefit more.
i just saw the first episode of hard knocks, i must say, i´m not impressed how mike smith is running that team, they tolerate fights during practice, there was like 3 on the very first, they want to be physical they say, but this is just dumb not putting any rules out there, well see how they play against us
A few tweets from today's practice that caught my eye: Combination routes.....thank you, sir! More QB Option Read....thank you, sir! He's only an All American at Center...I am shocked he is doing well. /sarcasm Getting the RBs involved in the passing game is the quickest way for Tannehill to become an elite QB. All the elite QBs know how to make the simple throw and let the best athlete on the field (the RB) take over. Lazor has common sense, unlike the last guy. I've been saying it all along...the answer to backup Center was on our roster the entire time, SMH.
That dude who turned us down for the GM on the browns aquired anthony Armstrong, Marlon Moore, and Nate burelson to Play receiver...lol..Jesus..if he did that here i would of had a conniption.
The Gillislee reports are encouraging, but I gotta see it in a game. Last preseason he looked overwhelmed just from an athletic standpoint...quickness, strength, speed, etc. He just looked like he was out of his league. Hopefully something has changed since then and he is figuring out how to be an effective ballcarrier at this level. He's fighting for a roster spot, no doubt. He doesn't get the rookie pass this year. Not when you see lots of solid RBs getting cut this month as teams trim to 53. He has to bring his A-game. So does DT, whose chances of making this roster are even worse, imo. Just because we're very weak in the backfield doesn't mean these guys are sure things for the 53. There'll be plenty of RB options out there in the next few weeks.
I'm also glad to see Gillislee's name being brought up more. For a while you almost questioned whether he was still on the roster. The big question mark on him coming out was how well he could adapt to zone plays, reading the defense and finding the crease. Hopefully he's doing well at that because he's always been a talented pure runner.
