Other than having to play the 4th string QB almost all game, I thought the back ups weren't bad.

The pass blocking in this game was a lot better than any game last season.

Weren't bad, I suppose. Seemed like Atlanta's D played with more energy than our O the second half.

Here's to a speedy recovery for both Moore and Devlin. If Tannehill goes down we have no offense at all at this point. *sends out get well cards to Moore and Devlin* Expedite your recoveries, please!

They must be thinking the previous pass where Hazel was overthrown by three feet, I agree with you that the drop you're talking about on the 4th down play should have been caught, it wasn't a good throw but Hazel got to get that.

No the 4th down play he's talking about, that was 3rd down and not even close to being caught and would have been a great catch.

I really liked the play-call on the Gibson touchdown, and not just because it was a touchdown, lots of misdirection going on there. Night everybody, have a nice weekend.

Not even Oronde Gadsden sitting on Nat Moore's shoulders could have caught that.

Okay, we are going to run a read-option look A LOT based on that opening drive. If Miller and Tannehill keep defenses on their toes this is going to be fun to watch.

The starting offense looked great. Pass blocking was heads and tails above 2013's debacle. However, outside a couple of nice individual showings, the starting and backup D, and backup O was shaky at best. I know Lobato was all we had to work with, but it was really disappointing to say the least. Don't understand why Jensen did not play at all. Brackett and Gillislee each flashed some tonight. At this point, I'd already take Brackett over Egnew.

Omar just tweeted that RB Damien Williams' right foot is in a walking boot. Hopefully that means it wasn't the knee and could be just a sprain.

Also, if Jimmy Wilson starts at FS for the first 4 games, then we need someone to step up and take the nickel corner spot. If Davis could get more consistent, he would be ideal, but at this second, Taylor may be better at this spot.

The comment on the broadcast when he was on the cart was he may have rolled over on it and the way he sat it just didn
t look like his knee was the issue.

If this were regular season, both Moore and Devlin could have played if need be. They're dinged, not seriously hurt.

Anyone want to mention how Philbin was more animated and lively on the sidelines today? He even had a moment of goofing around with Delmas.

I love when people try and tell me how betting on preseason is stupid and how it's all random.

Listen, you see that BOTH Matt Moore AND Pat Devlin are ailing and you know that preseason Week 1 tendencies being what they are, Tannehill's going to play basically one or two series and Moore/Devlin will likely sit out...you're down to Seth freaking Lobato as the guy that's going to quarterback most of the game...yeah the Falcons -3.0 looked pretty good. You want me to apologize for winning?

Very interesting game. What i took from it...

    - Tannehill looked very nice vs a vanilla defense. He picked them apart with short/intermediate passes. (He looked 20X better than Nick Foles did tonight, lol)
    - Bill Lazor and Branden Albert are either going to make or break this offense. They are the key.
    - Brandon Gibson just makes it happen. I hope he stays healthy. We are going to need him.
    - No issues with the snaps all night. Very encouraging.
    - One of the major components of the Chip Kelly offense is use of the tight ends in the passing game (Zach Ertz was the Eagles' leading receiver today). Let's just say Brett Brackett has a very good chance of making this squad (He was our leading receiver today). He looked really good out there. Possible third string TE.
    - Juwuan James was well worth the first round pick. He looked really solid out there today.
    - We still can't run the ball, especially when compared with Chip Kelly's offense. Having Mike Wallace as a deep threat and Tannehill as a read option threat should help open up running lanes though.
    - Our LB corp sucks. I'm not going to try to sugar-coat it. Something has to change quickly.
    - Our defensive line looked pedestrian against an offensive line that isn't all that great. I am shocked. I expected multiple sacks. (Dion Jordan played 3 quarters and made only 1 tackle...smh)
    - Defensive secondary was solid. I got pretty much what i expected. Once again, we are going to be a 'bend, but dont break defense'.
    - Special teams looks good. Our return game looks very promising.
    - I wanted a win, but Lobato is beyond pathetic. I don't ever want to see him again. We should have won easily.

Fede look good today. The play where Don Jones was called for PI and it was succesfully challenged due to deflection, he had a jump on the snap before the ball made it to the QB. With the Dion Jordan suspension, he's making the 53

That and thank Lobato ;) it still took an unforced error to get the win . But yes the play definitely was there.
