Yeremiah Bell retired today, loved having him as a Fin http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...iah-bell-former-dolphins-cards-safety-retires
One of the only late round picks we had that made an impact. He was a big hitter and that probably shortened his career.
I still remember that game against Chicago. He was hitting players so hard, I think he screwed a player's helmet's logo.
Dang didn't realize he was 36... that is a bit old for a guy that is basically a linebacker playing safety...
I'll always remember him causing the fumble on Drew Brees against SD in 2005. Good times. I think that was sort of his coming out party
He was such a consistently solid player for us. I really enjoyed watching him run around and crushing dudes. All the best in retirement, YB!
Most people retire to a golf course. Yeremiah? He'll likely be doing his leisure time from 7am to 5pm at a mill in Kentucky, where he will bend steel with his bare hands, for fun. Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 4
Nah, that was against Texas lol One where Yeremiah Bell allowed 'Dre a 4th and 10 conversation with less than a minute left, and Schaub walked in to endzone on a qb sneak.
That's the first thing I thought of. I remember that Bears game too and some other great moments, but that had to be the most "holy ****" moment. I was a big Yeremiah Bell fan. Really solid player for us.
The Bullfrog was definitely one of my favorites from this era. Consistently solid and a fun one to watch. I remember when he was a late 6th rounder and I went "who?" when we picked him from Eastern Kentucky. One of the better picks by that regime...
This needs to happen! Late round pick out of Eastern Kentucky, worked his *** off to walk on to the program, and had a very successful NFL career; mostly with the Miami Dolphins. Love this guy!
