That would be even funnier if there was a 98% chance of that conversation not actually happening....

Hey remember when Cesaro turned face at WM30, won the battle royal, was rumored to win the MiTB case and have a huge push and now doesn't even have a match at the 2nd biggest PPV of the year? Yeah that was fun.

It is really a waste of one of the top performers on the roster. The guy goes out and puts on a clinic with the face of the company on more than one occasion, has a ton of support with the crowd getting behind him and they crap all over him. The fact that Jack Swagger can go around injuring people, get caught with dope in the midst of a push, and STILL be in a high profile program is laughable. Cesaro could put on some magic if they place him near the top of the card. So hes not a great promo. Guess what? Neither is Reigns or Rollins...

It's simple, Vince got bored of Cesaro and thus the non push. The WWE wanted to keep him heel but the fans wanted him as a face so instead of letting his character naturally progress they stuck him with Heyman to keep him heel and thus the fans got confused as to what to do, the WWE then stuck him in meaningless feuds with RVD and Swagger, took away his big swing and he lost some of his heat. By that time Vince got bored and moved on. Good news is Cesaro is still mega talented so he will get another shot but sucks that the WWE continues with their 50/50 booking, it's hard to get behind new guys when they do this.

I think Vince needs to be removed lol. The business is passing him by. Punk leaving and Daniel Bryan getting injured has really thrown a wrench in plans, I think if you add those two guys, we have a real shot of getting an awesome attitude-era like run going. Those two guys leaving the scene really shuffled things around and forced story lines that werent ready I.e. The Shield breakup and Punk/Bryan vs. Authority was on its way to being the new era Austin/McMahon. Its a shame.

Anyone notice Flair snubbed Hogan on a handshake. When I was younger I was a huge Hogan fan, now I can't stand him, it didn't help that HBK was one of my favorites and hearing what happen between the two made me like him even more.

While I do think the business is passing him by a bit, I can't blame him for Punk leaving or Bryan getting hurt. I think the problem is outside of Roman Reigns no one else has any long term direction so it leaves guys treading water looking for something to do next and if Vince/creative doesn't have anything for them immediately they get forgotten about quickly.

I didn't see it but really Hogan is no different from most guys from his era. Not saying what he did at times was right but it was the status quote for all top guys with a lot of backstage power.

It's funny how much the business has changed. If you think about all the crap that McMahon and Bret Hart went through in 1997 over Survivor Series and Bret not wanting to drop the title or Honky Tonk Man refusing to drop the IC title and thus completely changing WM4. Nowadays guys wouldn't even think twice about refusing to lose or dropping the "prop", I mean title, or they'd be fired so quickly they wouldn't know what hit them.

Hogan seemed to hesitate on extending his hand, so Flair moved it over to Mean Gene. I don't think it was really intentional on Flair's part.

That last paragraph is basically what the article I posted yesterday, is about. How promoters are basically the mafia and use gangster tactics to keep talent under their thumb.

Did anyone else watch the Network after RAW to see the rest of Hogan's Birthday bash? I can't believe the WWE actually put 9.99 on his cake to promote the Network even further. I think it was either Lawler or JBL that pointed out if people were watching this then they already have the Network and know the price already. I know the WWE has been going on the extremes to promote the Network but I thought it was in really poor, yet funny and typical taste to put the damn price on the cake.

    Hey man baby steps.....

I'm still hoping they it would included a "Just Added" section. I had no clue they added so many 1998 RAWs or 2001 Smackdowns until last night when I was randomly fooling around with the ap and discovered it. The only way you'd know if they add something is if you happen to randomly catch it on the live feed or manually look at the schedule of live feeds. I would love it if in addition to the live feed there was a "random button feature" where the app randomly picks a PPV/show for you to watch, although I guess it's similar to the live feed.

They need to add a playback feature as its annoying if you stop watching a PPV half way through and then have to fast forward until the spot where you think you might have left off at. Also they should add "chapters" so you can easily skip matches ala a DVD/Blu Ray disc. Most of the WWE PPVs and RAWs have that option on the PS3 app but not on Apple TV or iPad/Pod/Phone.

Which brings me to my final complaint in that they need to make the Network app universal so it's the same no matter if you're watching it on your iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, PS3, xbox or whatever. I don't understand how it could be so different depending on what product you're watching it on.

So apparently the New New Nation (version 3.0) is done, so its back to jobbing for Kofi and Big E and probably the indies for Xaiver soon. Too bad it had a chance to be interesting, especially if Kofi turned heel to give him a fresh make over.

That is extremely disappointing. I thought they'd have a good chance at getting over. Sucks they didn't get that opportunity.

I honestly don't get why the angle was dropped. They obviously had somewhat of a plan with them and now nothing? That's the whole freaking problem with the product right now. No direction outside of Roman Reigns.

Right now it's all speculation based on the fact that Kofi, Big E and Woods all wrestled solo as faces at the TV tapings yesterday, Kofi wrestled on The Main Event and both Big E and Woods wrestled in dark matches before the Smackdown tapings. None of the them appear on Smackdown this week leading to people assuming the group is done with. Also Kofi and Big E wrestled seperately as faces on the Australian tour.

I knew them all...mainly by listening to the Stone Cold Podcast since it started....

    But they missed two:

"Hulking Up"- Hulk Hogan's ring gimmick where a bazooka shot to the face or a nuclear detonation at his feet had zero to no effect whatsoever, and he then proceeded to kick your *** and give you the leg drop."

"Cenaing or Cena gonna Cena"- That moment in a John Cena match when something unpredictable seems likely to happen, but then something very predictable is what occurs instead, or alternate definition: See "Hulking Up".

Good call about the "hulking up" one. I'm sure there are others too.

Dean Ambrose is going to be a movie star, so he'll be off TV for a few weeks while filming. Wonder what they means for his character and how they explain him being off TV.

    WTF?

So I am guessing Rollins wins Sunday with a brutal beat down, and "injury" to Ambrose.

I hope it's not a boring injury angle. Would much rather see Triple H suspend Ambrose or something like that because of the wild match with Rollins on Sunday saying he's much too dangerous to be around the WWE, that way you can have Ambrose pop up randomly at a RAW and attack Rollins or another wrestler and then run out of the building (please no more arrest storylines) thus continuing to play up the loose cannon type character ala what they did with Stone Cold Steve Austin for a few months in 1997 when he was recovering from his neck injury. You can then have Rollins complain to Triple H to make a match between him and Ambrose and if Ambrose loses he has to leave the WWE forever and Ambrose agrees but only if Rollins puts his MiTB case on the line in a ladder match and then have Ambrose win that match and now carries around the case with him. That way once Reigns wins the WWE title you can run a Ambrose/Reigns program.

Good article on Brock Lesnar and if he's really worth the money the WWE is paying him:

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...k-lesnars-value-in-the-era-of-the-wwe-network

Personally I think he's been booked poor since his 2nd appearance after he returned and F-5ed Cena. He never should have lost to Cena at Extreme Rules or Triple H at WM, really never should have been booked to face him at WM or Extreme Rules either no one wanted to see them wrestle 3 times. Really he should have just beaten everyone in his path, including The Undertaker, beat Cena at Summer Slam this year and then finally drop the belt to Reigns to make the Reigns win that much more meaningful. And you also create that Lesnar really is an unstoppable monster. The WWE should have also brought in Heyman from Day 1 too, although Heyman said the WWE reached out to him but declined at first.
