Exactly, Rollins leaves the ring, the building, whatever any chance he gets to get away from Ambrose.....so in kayfabe, Ambrose selected lumberjack so those guys make sure they keep him put, so he can slay his ***!

    Which makes sense.

Well this is interesting, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Vince and Triple H are at odds as to who should face Brock Lesnar at WM. Triple H wants Reigns while Vince wants The Rock. Originally Brock was suppose to face The Rock at WM30 before Rock hurt himself at WM29 and was too busy with his movie filming.

Obviously Brock vs. The Rock would be a big draw however having The Rock be the one to beat Brock or even face Brock at WM seems backwards for the company in building new stars which that desperately need now more than ever.

I personally think the WM main event will end up being Brock vs. Bryan (assuming he's healthy) because that's the one fans will want to see and if not they will turn on Reigns like they did with Batista last year if Bryan is healthy and out of the main event picture. Part of me would also like to see Ambrose get the "Reigns push" instead of Reigns.

So much can happen before then. Bryan comes back, why not turn Reigns.....have Roman win the title....or Lesnar flat drop it...Roman vs Bryan at WM

Brock Vs Rock non-title at WM.....So much can happen between tho so who knows.

Roman Reigns needs to add a power move besides his Samoan drop. He needs variety in his game. His uppercut slaps are terrible too.

He has become this type of wrestler that I hate....the guy that always has to get all his **** in, and all his **** is the same exact crap week in and out.

Kick to the face on the apron...superman punch....spear. rinse..repeat.

  5. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

That is WWE-style wrestling though. Identity spots are in every match. And they pop crowds. I agree that he needs more variety, but he was also the lone shield member that was "rushed" to the big show before he was fully cooked and has had to learn a lot while being in the spotlight, as opposed to Ambrose and Rollins who really just had to work on their physique and timing in a WWE ring.

A new belt WILL be issued tonight, per the pre-Raw thingy on the network (which is borderline unwatchable, for the record).

As for WM31, having Rock vs. Brock as the main event would be insanely hot. But I don't ever want to see Rock with the belt again, so I suppose I prefer the other match up since it is probably a foregone conclusion that Brock is losing then.

It is times like these where I wish Punk was still around.

Agreed just think it's interesting that Triple H is pushing for a younger guy while Vince wants to go back to an established, yet part timer.

Agreed. Reigns is still green in many areas. He really needs to work on his move set and mike skills. Luckily for him WM is still what 8 months away. He's got time.

    A new belt?

Are they serious abandoning the new WWE Championship belt already? Or is there going to be a new title?

  9. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

Abandoning the already out-of-date belt. My guess is that they are consolidating the two belts into one, incorporating the new logo and making looks as close to the newest WWE Title belt as possible.

Triple H just posted a pic of the new belt it looks exactly like the newest version of the WWE title only with the new logo on it. Very disappointed but should have been expected.

I can really do without seeing another finish where Wrestler A is about to beat Wrestler B when Wrestler C's music hits distracting Wrestler A so Wrestler B scores the surprise pinfall. It's lazy booking and is done at least 2 or 3 times a night on RAW/Smackdown.

  12. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

It isn't quite that rampant, but yes, it is a lazy staple of booking.

A bit of hyperbole on my part but it happens at least once a RAW/Smackdown. I just don't understand why they don't have the heels cheat to win more, go more old school like pull the tights, use the ropes, hit them with a foreign object they hide in their wrestling gear etc.

I really don't understand how they have Triple H who is essentially the #2 or 3 in charge and is a "student of the game" and yet they never take any old finishes or storyline ideas and recycle them (use Jim Cornette's 7 year year). The literally have the WWE Network at their hands and all they have to do is pop in an old Clash of the Champions or SNME.

Jim Ross has brought up some good points on his podcast lately about how the WWE should bring back time limit draws again, that way if the WWE wants to keep both wrestlers strong and not have either guy lose a time limit draw is a good way to keep heat on both guys and make fans want to see them wrestle again and plus it would be something new/different instead of the cheap double count out or DQ.

The Ambrose/Rollins match was pretty outstanding last night. Can't believe both of them took that power bomb bump on all of those chairs. Ambrose is really over with the crowd, it's a shame he has to leave for awhile. They handled the injury angle as well as they could have.

I still think he's going to end up a bigger star than Reigns if the WWE doesn't cut his legs out from under him.

I was into the Ambrose match that I forgot he was getting ready to do a Movie until I saw the Concrete that just happened to be at ring side under a Table. The Character that he is Playing is one the crowd likes with the crazy guy who will do anything it takes to get the job done. I agree when he comes back in about a Month the place will explode when he makes his return. Reigns better keep getting better or Ambrose might take his spot, right now the only thing Reigns has on Ambrose is Size.

Yeah Reigns has the size and "look" of someone that should be a superstar. Although I really hate his ring gear. Like I said in my post about him, he's still green and has to improve on his in ring work and his mike skills. He gets exposed when he's wrestling for more than 10 minutes at a time right now which is why putting him in The Shield to start off was perfect for him (and other guys learning the business slowly).

I think the fans like Ambrose because he's just so different from everyone else on the roster. The guy knows how to work, has the mike skills and actually looks the part of someone crazy. He's a mix between Roddy Piper, Terry Funk, Brian Pillman, Steve Austin, and Jake Roberts. His pops are natural too and aren't from the WWE trying to shove him down the fans throats.

I gotta say..I am feeling damn near all of these feuds.

I LOVE the Paige/AJ Lee stuff..and once we get Charlotte in the WWE, sprinkle some Nikki Bella, we can have a decent 4 way Diva Title program.

I really like the Miz vs. Dolph mini-feud as well..reminds me of the old IC Belt programs.

    Rusev vs. Henry has possibilities.

Randy Orton seems ready to do "something" that will be interesting.

Bray Wyatt has regained some momentum.

The right guy (a mega heel) is champ.

All is good in the wrestling world.

Now..this is outside the box thinking....

But Lesnar vs. Wyatt at WM? That would (IMO) be huge and a perfect fit for each other.

How can you intimidate what can't be intimidated? You can;t hurt somebody that feels "dead" already...AND he has two huge goons with him.

Imagine like the joker in Dark Knight.....Brock is pounding Wyatt.....Bray is just laughing, taunting, ENJOYING the pain....Brock has nothing that can beat that.

That would be cool. Just don't know if Bray is ready.

In theory it could work and is an interesting idea however I just can't see it as a WM main event type of match right now.

I also disagree with you about Bray have momentum, since the Cena WM match he's kind of just be there not doing much but still being on TV each week. I think the WWE is in kind of a weird position with him right now where he should be a heel and they want him to be a heel but because he's so different and he plays to the crowd with that stupid singing its turning him face, of course working a program with Cena doesn't help either. I think the WWE needs to stop having their heels be "cool" and have them stop playing to the crowd with their catch phrases and sing-a-longs. If the Wyatts are heels they should cheat and act like heels. I also think the WWE missed the boat on Harper and Rowan, they should have given them a tag title run already now those guys are kind of just there too.

Interesting storyline going on with Ambrose now, according to WWE.com Ambrose refused medical treatment and has gone missing. Really hope they play this out on TV and talk about it each time Rollins is on or even have Triple H/Stephanie mention it too. It will really add to his crazy loose cannon gimmick.

Also Bad News Barrett is out until December.

Since I am going to WM this year, I have started to fantasy book a little bit. I will write out a couple of the top stories soon enough, but I will say this. I think I have a way for Taker to get his receipt, without ever having to actually wrestle.

I also think I have a way for Sting to make a WM debut/finale and cement one of the young guns for good.

Yes. They are so all over the place. Sometimes I love their writing....shield turn was perfect timing, Bryan (lucky but they went through with it)....but this is dumb.

Is Cena gunna work out harder? Get stronger? Train in wrestling more? Just doesn't make sense.

Yes. Yes. and yes. He's SuperCena after all, it doesn't need to make sense.

Seriously though Scott Keith has been calling this feud "Rocky 3" because Brock (Mr. T) completely destroyed Cena (Rocky) in their first match and now Cena (Rocky) will train harder and be ready for him this time. Only this time I hope Mr. T wins again because really it would be completely *** backwards if Cena wins the title from Brock in the rematch.

IMO if this is the case, Vince won, and he wants Rock/Brock at mania, without the title on the line for obvious reasons. So Cena will be free to battle Batista? Orton? I dunno so maybe they can win, and Bryan and return or Reigns for a face/heel mania title match.

That's the only reason you have Cena get the belt back is to start Brock on a feud with someone else.

Well there's two ways of thinking here, neither of which are anything new:

1.) Brock keeps the title because he's booked right now as an unstoppable monster so when someone finally does beat him it will mean something and it could push that wrestler to the next level. Also Brock with the title gives the WWE a lot of media coverage as Brock winning at SS was on TMZ, ESPN, plus he brings a lot of legit credit to the WWE as being their champion. However he won't be around much due to his limited schedule. Which leads to:

2.) Cena wins the title in the rematch. The WWE still needs to get people to get the Network and their feeling is with Cena as champion all of the little kids will get their parents to subscribe to it. Also the WWE is worried about house show business if the WWE title isn't defended on it all and also how to work around the WWE Champion maybe wrestling 2 or 3 times until WM so they need to come up with an explanation.

I really think the WWE should just roll the dice with Brock as champion until WM and give the rub to Reigns. But hey it's great that NOC main event is truly going to be an unpredictable outcome and will be a must watch PPV. That's exactly what the WWE wants.

The Monday Night Wars series will debut on the WWE Network on Friday at 10:00pm. I'm pretty excited for this one. This is the type of original content they should be adding.

Also there's a new WWE Special that focuses on Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins and their journey towards SS, similar to Bryan/WM30 one.

Oh and Samphin and anyone else that hasn't seen the Warrior special they did shortly after he died I really recommend it, it's fantastic and amazing they put it together so quickly.

I just hope it keeps it that way. The Monday Night War DVD, while good, was incredibly biased towards the WWE and how everything WCW did except the beginning of the nWo and Goldberg was crap, while everything the WWF did was gold but no one was watching.

Hopefully they will start to release Nitros soon, although I heard they will be out "by October" whatever that means.

Just watched it too....was left with the idea that Rollins has the MITB for a reason..and my god..I hope he is not cashing on a near dead Cena after a victory over Lesnar. That would ruin two guys.

Lesnar as a mega heel is awesome....you know what would also be awesome? Cena going away for like 40 days, and then coming back with an edge and as a borderline heel/attitude era throwback.

But this Documentary got me thinking. What is happening with Rollins, now that Ambrose is not there to screw things up for him?

My take away from the documentary is that the WWE badly wants Reigns to be a main eventer. But views Rollins as having the talent and Ambrose being the unique one.

And no I don't think Rollins will cash in the MiTB anytime soon. I don't think he's ready for the title.

But I do think it's clear Cena needs to do something with his current character, he's been stale for awhile. I'm not talking about turning heel but maybe just change the ring gear along with ditching the "poo poo/pee pee" jokes.
