Damn...wish they would just charge like 15.00 a game during the season. So many more people would jump all over this....

 

I have figured out how Daniel Thomas never gets cut. If he doesn't play, he can't be evaluated.

Problem is, he's figured it out too.

 

Sorry Stitches but I have to agree with those who feel the fourth exhibition game is basically a waste of time. I think the coaches know after the third exhibition game who they want on the 53 man roster. All the 4th game does is give the owners another reason to rip off season ticket holders, who are forced to purchase this useless game as part of the season ticket package.

I wish they would just go to a two game preseason and an 18 game regular season. Playing what is basically a fourth of the season in games that don't count, makes no sense at all. Preseason games used to be played so players who worked other jobs in the off season could come to camp and get in shape. That is no longer the reality of the NFL. Players today spend the off season getting ready for the next season.

The sooner they go to 18 regular season games and just two preseason games, the better it will be.

 

For whatever reason i draw the line here. Heck I bought Sunday ticket but refuse to pay a dime more for preseason

I would hate an 18 game season. It would be a disaster.

3 preseason games would be perfect.

I would like 16 game regular season and I could live with just two preseason games.

I have comcast here in Texas, but had Cox in Louisiana (both cable Internet).

For starters, 2 preseason games is perfect. However I think it would hurt the league overall if you take away important time for the "not ready for primetime players."

If the NFL actually gets serious and creates a minor league, have them play games on Friday or Tuesday, then having only 2 preseason games would be fine.
