Why was wallace stumbling down the field. Is he blind... seriously, can he not find the ****ing ball ever?!
Either way it was a bad throw. You don't lead an open WR back over the middle. Ever. Only way that is good is if there is no-one covering the middle and the sideline is an issue.
Wallace has to look for the ball because he is not smart enough to run crisp, consistently timed routes. He's a sandlot football guy. Perfect with Big Ben when plays broke down.
No what I mean is if it's a timing thing, and Wallace is dancing in front of his defender before getting into his route, wouldn't that throw it off? He shoulda been 5 yards further down field.
I think Tannehill was expecting him to just go..not look back so soon..either way..these two hookin up is like pulling teeth
Didn't see anyone covering the middle on that throw? no one was in front of him , he just needed to locate and run to the ball , at least that is what I saw
He can't run where he is supposed to when he is supposed to, imo, so there is no automated timing there.. he has to figure out where the ball is the hard way once it's up there each play, because he's located somewhere different each time he runs the same play. lol.
It was a brutal attempt at a route by Wallace... he was all over the place... all he has to do is locate that ball and its 6. He looked lost. Maybe he lost it in the lights or something, who knows, I don't put it on the throw one bit really.
The deep pass looked like poor timing on someone's part, no one is THAT off. It's like Tanne was throwing to a spot and it just wasn't the right spot for the play timing.
Our LT and RT had no clue what was happening there thank god its still preseason, but really by now... you have to have that stuff in order.
Don't think so. That isn't really a timing route in my experience from playing both WR and QB at various points.
The passing offense has absolutely disappointed me today but the run blocking and Moreno have impressed. When both show up on the same day we'll get some TDs.
How do you figure..its was obvious by the trajectory od the ball Tann expected much diff from Wallace
The QB is throwing to the spot, the WR has to be there. He was nowhere near it. Wallace was too busy dancing around, and looking around for the ball. If Wallace just runs, he's under that ball and its 6.
Agreed. Ryan is throwing to a spot at a specific time. Wallace is out there running himself open then looking to see where the ball goes. Two different approaches that lead to a lot of incompletions.
