IKR WTF lol It's nigth and day. not even close. Don't blame the playcalling on the horrific execution.
**** that... points. I want points on a scoreboard. Not reasons to feel good that we're behind. I already have a cupboard full of those from the past ten years.
Bad throw by Tannehill. Bad technique by Wallace. More of the same miscommunication with Tannehill kind of robotically throwing to a spot and Wallace just isn't that type of receiver.
3 points against a very bad Cowboys defense is certainly disappointing. It seems like there is always some reason that the team can't sustain a drive.
If the play calls for throwing to a spot, and the receiver is in single, what else is he supposed to do?
Also, excluding Daniel Thomas, who may wrest the starting position from Moreno on the strength of his prototypical look alone.
For those expecting success like the Eagles had last year with this style of offense, we should keep in mind that in the 3rd preseason game (the dress rehearsal) that offense was clearly humming. I don't think we should expect that, not with the puzzle pieces in place (or rather, the lack of puzzle pieces in place). Also the more I watch the play calling the more I see that there are differences. This offense isn't as innovative or daring. It's not taught as well and it doesn't operate by the same mathematical principles.
I was thinking the same thing. I'd like to see a stat on 50+ field goals attempted against us the last decade. I swear the opposition rarely misses.
I'm telling you, handcuff them together for a month. It'd work. It worked when Maynard and McLovin's chemistry was flagging.
they even started laughing at the things Garrett was saying in the interview after halftime. like, wtf is so funny you idiots
I aggree....but Points in the pre season is a glass half full....I saw enough to feel like we are progressing with our Offense very well. I think we will be very competitive this season...
I would like to hope no one was excepting that. I was hoping for better play calling and playing to the QBs strengths, and so far that's all we've seen
Yep....Im comparing this offense to OUR offenses in seasons past...lol. Compared to our past offenses....color me happy as a motha ****aaaaaa
The biggest take-away for me in the first half was the running of Moreno (I'm sure most agree). That was great to see. If they can keep that up, we should be in for a fun ride. Also like seeing Tannehill avoid a few sacks, that he likely would've taken last year (at least one of them). Only bad throw IMHO was the throw behind the guy to the left that had a back draped on him...he threw it behind, but probably shouldn't have even been throwing that way. Already as many rushing yards than the other 2 games combined...
They gotta be drinking something. Last year's game, as it went along they got louder and louder, Irvin slurred his words more, and they talked less and less about the game at hand.
For all Wallace is getting crapped on for that one play, at least give credit for his play underneath. He has played well.
